“You got cleared to exercise at 6 weeks postpartum? That’s not the finish line.”

One of the biggest misconceptions in postpartum recovery is that your 6-week checkup means your body is fully healed and ready to jump back into exercise.

The reality?
At 6 weeks postpartum, your tissues are still healing.
Your core is still recovering.
Your pelvic floor is still adapting.
Your hormones are still changing.
And many moms are still experiencing symptoms they think are “normal.”

Being cleared for exercise simply means there are no major medical concerns preventing you from being active.

It does not mean:
❌ Your pelvic floor is functioning optimally.
❌ Your abdominal wall has regained strength and coordination.
❌ You’re ready for running, HIIT, heavy lifting, or intense workouts.

If you’re leaking urine, feeling heaviness or pressure, dealing with back pain, struggling with core control, or noticing symptoms during workouts, your body may be asking for more support before progressing.

‼️ Postpartum recovery isn’t measured by a date on the calendar.
It’s measured by function. ‼️

Your body deserves more than a 6-week clearance—it deserves a plan.

If you’re looking for a real support, I’m here. 🤍

Save this post for a postpartum mama who needs to hear it.

One of the biggest misconceptions about pelvic floor rehab is that it only happens on a yoga mat doing Kegels.

In reality, your pelvic floor works with your diaphragm every time you breathe 🤍

As I inhale, my pelvic floor gently lengthens and relaxes.
As I exhale, it naturally lifts and recoils + I add a gentle contraction of my pelvic floor (lifting up that 🫐)

This simple breathing exercise helps improve awareness, coordination, and pressure management within the core system➰

And the best part? You can practice it almost anywhere—standing, sitting, walking, or while going about your day.

Healing your pelvic floor doesn’t always require more exercises.

Sometimes it starts with learning how to breathe.

Have you ever been taught that your pelvic floor moves with your breath?

Just a reminder that not all providers are the same.

Some will know more about a topic versus another.
Some will look at something from a different lens.
Some will give you homework and educate you more.

Some will tell you your pain is “normal.”
Some will rush you through your appointment.
Some will answer your concerns with “just wait it out.”

And some will actually listen.
They’ll assess thoroughly.
They’ll look at the whole picture.
They’ll validate what you’re feeling and help you understand why it’s happening.

You deserve care that makes you feel heard, supported, and empowered — not dismissed.

Whether it’s for you, your pregnancy, postpartum recovery, or your baby… don’t settle for feeling unseen in your healthcare journey. 🤍

And this was just today…

“I had horrible hip pain when I was pregnant and no one told me I could be helped.”

“They have been screaming in the car seat for months and I was told it was normal.”

“No one told me about his tongue tie.”

“The other doctor didn’t give me exercises to do.”

“I thought leaking after having a baby was just something I had to live with.”

“I didn’t know feeding shouldn’t hurt.”

“I was told to just wait it out.”

So many women and babies are struggling silently because they were never told support exists.

Pain is common.
Struggling is common.
But being dismissed should not be normal.

Moms deserve proper postpartum care.
Babies deserve to be assessed thoroughly.
Families deserve answers, support, and options.

This is why I do what I do.
To help women feel heard.
To help babies thrive.
And to remind families that they don’t have to just “deal with it.”

Let’s do better. For them.
Because not only do cthey deserve it, they need it.

You were strong enough to grow your baby…
and you can come back even stronger—more balanced, more supported, more connected to your body.

Having a baby doesn’t have to mean your body is changed forever in a way that feels unfamiliar or limiting.

If things feel off—
leaking, weakness, discomfort, disconnection—
that’s not your “new normal.”

Your body adapted to carry life.
Now it’s your turn to rebuild it with intention.

✨ Stronger, not just “back”
✨ Balanced, not just getting by
✨ Supported every step of the way

Healing is possible.
And you don’t have to do it alone 🤍

Ready to feel strong again in your body?
I’ve got you 🤍

Feeding your baby shouldn’t feel this hard 🤍

If you’re noticing clicking, leaking milk, long feeds, or frustration at the breast or bottle… it might not be something you just have to “wait out.”

Oral dysfunction and oral ties can impact how your baby uses their tongue, lips, and jaw—making feeding more challenging for both of you.

Suck training is a gentle way to help retrain those patterns, support a better latch, and make feeding feel more efficient and connected.

And the best part? You don’t have to figure it out alone.

There is support. There are answers. And there are ways to help your baby feed with more ease.

✨ If this sounds like your baby, reach out—I’m here to help guide you.

Your postpartum body deserves more than “getting back” — it deserves proper healing 🤍Method360 Postpartum Rehab is back ...

People think healthcare is one provider, one plan.

But this week?
Lactation consultant. Dentist. OT. Physio. SLP. Osteopath. Naturopath. Dietician. Pediatrician.

Because real care looks like collaboration.
It looks like knowing when to guide… and when to refer.

You don’t need just one answer—
you need the right support system.

03/27/2026

“It was so nice to meet you… I’m here if you need me.”

Not
“See you every week forever.”

Because the truth is…
that’s never been my goal.

My goal is to help you understand your body.
To give you the tools, the awareness, the confidence
to actually feel in control again.

To move better.
To feel stronger.
To trust yourself.

And then…
to go live your life without needing me.

That’s the win. 🤍

Of course I’ll always be here—
when something feels off,
when your body changes,
when you need guidance again.

But this isn’t about dependency.
It’s about empowerment.

Let’s heal…
and then let go.
