Start of a new month and what better way to start it off!

Sitting is the new crack, after a long day of sitting my hips are locked. First instinct is to get up from sitting and go sit to watch TV or lay down but that too puts more tension on the hips. So I’m incorporating even 30 mins of walking on the walking pad followed by some hip opening exercises. I know I’m not the only with tight hips at the end of the day. Let me know in the comments how you open up those hips

Had a wonderful evening attending the Menopause and Mocktails event hosted by and .and.weights. It was an awesome event, we had honest conversations, shared experiences, and a reminder that menopause and perimenopause aren’t things we should whisper about… they’re things we should understand, support, and talk about openly.

For too long, so many of us have felt confused, dismissed, or alone in this phase of life. But being in a room full of people saying “omg me too” was eye opening that lots of women are going through the same thing and going through it in silence.

The more we normalize these conversations, the more empowered we all become, whether you’re going through it now, approaching it, or supporting someone who is.

Let’s keep the conversation going.

The “perfect time” doesn’t exist.

Health for me right now looks like building it into my day, not around it.
Short walks. Quick workouts. Choosing movement even when it’s not convenient.

Because it’s not about having time… it’s about making space.
