🧡 **Lodge Closed September 30th**

Mino Pimatisiwin Sexual Wellness Lodge will be **closed on September 30th** in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We will reopen during our regular hours on **Thursday, October 1st**.

Today and every day, we honour Survivors, their families, and the children who never made it home. We hold space for remembrance, reflection, healing, and truth. 🧡

✨ Exciting things are happening at the Lodge! ✨

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Patrick O’Byrne, Professor of Nursing at the University of Ottawa and Nurse Practitioner at Ottawa Public Health, along with Lauren Orser, Senior Research Associate and Public Health Nurse at Ottawa Public Health!

We had a wonderful conversation about PrEP, shared knowledge, and answered questions about expanding s*xual health care for our relatives. Exciting things are in the works, and we can’t wait to share more! ❤️

Afterwards, our hardworking Aunties went straight back to welcoming our relatives, preparing food, and caring for our community! 🥰

Join us for Beading is Healing on Friday, September 25 from 12–3 PM at the Mino Pimatisiwin Sexual Wellness Lodge.

This will be a space to bead together, share teachings, talk about HIV, and have conversations about next steps in reducing HIV stigma in our communities. ❤️

Beading supplies, tea and bannock will also be provided.
