Nova Scotia – a province with which Manitoba often compares itself – allows greater access to primary care by Pharmacists than Manitoba. Pharmacists in both provinces are expertly trained and highly qualified but only the Nova Scotia provincial government allows their Pharmacists to provide care to those in need. Manitoba, meanwhile, inexplicably lags behind.

Why is Danielle Smith’s Alberta allowing Albertans better access to primary care through a Pharmacist than Manitoba? Pharmacists in both provinces are expertly-trained and qualified to provide a variety of primary care but Manitoba simply doesn’t allow it. It makes no sense.
