why did we install that extra heavy duty unit? it wasn’t because the client is a particularly big dude, it’s actually because he laterally transfers from a wheelchair adding a lot extra force in nonstandard directions. the 2 legs at the wall keep stability at all times and the two in the front protect from torque from transfer.

we had to push the landing out an extra 2ft so we wouldn’t damage the beautiful hedge.
hopefully this client will not need this ramp for long but until then he has freedom from his house and of course, from hospital.
