The best place to store your medications depends on their specific storage requirements.

Before putting them away, take a moment to read the label. Some medications need to be stored at room temperature, while others require refrigeration or special storage conditions.

For medications that require a cool, dry place, consider a secure location away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight.

Always keep medications in their original containers and out of reach of children and pets.

UV rays don't take a break when the clouds roll in or the temperatures drop.

Even on overcast days, UV radiation can reach your skin, and exposure can add up throughout the year.

Whether you're heading out for a fall walk, running errands or enjoying a winter afternoon, protecting your skin is still important.

Check the UV index and use broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher when sun protection is needed. Remember to reapply as directed, especially when spending extended time outdoors.

Our pharmacist Kristine lovingly makes coasters, magnets, home décor and more, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to The Dream Factory .

What makes this especially meaningful to us is knowing how much of her own time and care Kristine puts into every piece.

That thoughtfulness is something we’re fortunate to see every day. It’s in the way she cares for patients, takes the time to listen and helps the people who come through our doors feel welcome.
