You stretch your back. You stretch your neck. When did you last stretch your forearms?
A mouse, a phone, a steering wheel, eight hours a day. The muscles that curl your fingers sit half-contracted through all of it, and nobody ever thinks about them until something starts to hurt.
What it turns into: aching wrists, a grip that gives out by evening, tingling in the fingers, and elbow pain in people who have never held a tennis racket.
The useful part is that the fix is usually not at the wrist. It is up in the forearm, and often further up into the shoulder, because the whole chain shares the load. Work the chain and the wrist stops complaining.
Hairdressers, hygienists, tradespeople, drivers, anyone at a keyboard β this one is for you.
