We are thrilled to share that Meaghan Hannigan (“Meg”) has officially joined Axtion Independence Mobility Inc. full-time as our Product Engineer, with an additional governance role as CSAB Product & Clinical Integration Lead.
Meg brings a rare blend of engineering expertise and clinical research experience. She completed her B.Eng. in Biomechanical Engineering at Queen's University, followed by a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Research at Dalhousie University, where she focused on mobility, physical function, and musculoskeletal health. She then spent a year in clinical research with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Nova Scotia Health, supporting post‑operative recovery and real‑world mobility outcomes.
Meg has already made a meaningful impact on the evolution of our award-winning RAYMEX Lift – from engineering analysis and testing to continuous improvement, regulatory documentation, and structured problem‑solving. Her ability to bridge engineering, clinical evidence, and user needs is exceptional.
In her governance role, Meg will support our soon-to-be-announced Clinical & Scientific Advisory Board (CSAB), helping maintain our product roadmap, prepare evidence summaries, coordinate advisory cycles, and translate clinical guidance into engineering action. She is also developing expertise in regulatory and quality systems as we prepare for continued submissions in Canada, the U.S., and internationally.
We’re incredibly fortunate to have Meg on the team. Welcome officially, Meg – we’re so glad you’re here!
