What if your cannabis experience could become an opportunity to slow down, tune in and connect more deeply with yourself?

Join us Thursday, September 24, 6:00–8:30pm for an online Conscious Cannabis Use Circle. This is a guided space about more than simply consuming cannabis. It’s about bringing deliberateness, awareness, and curiosity to the experience using intention setting, music, mindfulness, and conscious breath.

To attend: You must be 21+, complete a short questionnaire, and have a free consultation with me, Jenilee, beforehand. (The consultation and questionnaire only need to be done once and not before each circle).

If you’re curious about joining, send a DM and/or share your email address. I'll send you the questionnaire and we can arrange a short consult time to go through your responses, talk about what to expect/what to bring to the circle, and answer any questions you have.

If you feel drawn to this, I'd love for you to join us!
Much love;

Jenilee

Have you ever heard Angie talk about the fact that what you eat, cannot make you a bad person or make you have a bad body? Food and eating aren't moral issues. But kicking puppy's is.

From National Alliance for Eating Disorders with some additional Nourish edits :)

Before commenting on someone’s body, it’s important to remember that even well intentioned remarks about appearance can have an impact we don’t always see. We often assume a body is open for discussion, that changes are positive, or that appearance reflects health or wellbeing—but those assumptions aren’t always accurate. Unlearn this! Other people's bodies are NOT up for discussion!

What we can’t know is someone’s relationship with their body, which may be shaped by health challenges, mental health, stress, grief, or eating disorders.

What are some one liners you have used, or could use, if someone makes a comment about your body?

Jenilee is always talking about untangling things, and has a big rubber band ball on her desk that she often uses as a visual reference.

The more we're able to untangle our moments and name our feelings, the easier it is for us to understand what's going on in us and then use that to determine what we need in the moment. Distraction? Soothing? Or something else?

"A perceived mistake becomes a valuable learning experience and is, in essence, a gift to learn and grow from. You are not a bad person and you are not your decisions; you are simply human." -Daily Om

Here at Nourish Your True Self, you can't "do it wrong". Diet culture (amongst other social constructs) train us to think and believe that if we can't do things "right" than we must not be motivated or trying hard enough. This just isn't true.

At Nourish, you can't do our process wrong. Everything that happens, and we mean everything (that happens, and doesn't!) gives us information as to where to go to next!

Did it once? Ok.
Did it 5 times? Ok.
Didn't do it at all? Ok.
It's all ok, because each scenario gives us good information!
And then we get curious:
If you did it once, what was different about that day?
If you didn't do it at all, perhaps the plan was too hefty

You are not doing life wrong. You are not bad when you make a plan or have a goal and it's hard to get there. You are a complex and beautiful being, who's full of really good information!

We see you.

Language matters. How does it feel to use acceptance infused words where you once used resistance charged ones?

I (Jenilee) really like (ooo it's tough sometimes): I breathe into these feelings, and practice acceptance
