Yarmouth Association for Community Residential Options Bursary

YACRO is invested in helping future generations in our communities achieve their education goals. We value the importance of post secondary training and are committed to encouraging strong community acceptance and diversity.
The employees of YACRO have established an annual bursary in the amount of $ 2000 to a deserving grade 12 student furthering their education.
Application details:
Open to all grade 12 students advancing to post secondary education and are residents of Yarmouth County
• Students must submit a resume and a written essay describing why they would be the best candidate for the award
• Deadline for applications will be May 1
• Preference given to students continuing in the Human Service or Social Science fields
• Preference given to students with proven experience working or volunteering with children or adults with disabilities
• transcript including first semester, grade 12 marks
