PCOS is now PMOS.

The condition previously known as Polycystic O***y Syndrome has officially been renamed Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) to better reflect the full scope of the condition.

The new name recognizes that PMOS is not just about the ovaries. It’s a complex endocrine and metabolic condition that can impact hormones, insulin resistance, fertility, mental health, cardiovascular health, and more.

This change is an important step toward improving awareness, reducing stigma, and helping more women feel seen and understood in their healthcare experiences. đź’ś

This National Nurse Appreciation Week, we’re recognizing the Nurses and Nurse Practitioners who help patients feel seen, heard, and supported every day.

From answering questions and navigating care to showing up with compassion during life’s most vulnerable moments, Nurses play an essential role in improving health outcomes across every stage of health and wellbeing.

At June, we’re grateful for the expertise, empathy, and care nurses bring to every conversation.

Thank you for all that you do. đź’ś

Endometriosis doesn’t look the same for everyone. But too often, the experience includes feeling unheard, dismissed, or left searching for answers.

This month, we’re opening up the conversation.

Join Dr. Romy Nitsch, Endometriosis Surgeon and Medical Director at June Health on May 28th for our next Women’s Health Lunch Lab - Endometriosis Uncovered: Your Stories & Expert Insights. We’ll bring together real experiences and expert guidance to better understand what living with endometriosis truly looks like.

We’re also inviting you to be part of the conversation.

If you’re comfortable, you can share your story with us ahead of time. Selected themes and experiences will help shape the discussion during the webinar. Your voice can help others feel seen, and help drive more informed, compassionate care.

Whether you’re living with endometriosis, supporting someone who is, or simply want to better understand women’s health, this conversation matters. Awareness is how we move toward earlier diagnosis, better care, and stronger support.

Head to the link in our bio to share your endometriosis story and save your spot for the webinarđź’ś

It’s Mental Health Awareness Week, a time to pause and reflect on how mental health shows up in our daily lives.

Mental health is not separate from physical health. The way we think, feel, and experience stress is closely connected to how our bodies function.

Many women carry this quietly. They continue to show up for work, for family, and for everything in between, even when they feel overwhelmed or mentally drained. Over time, that ongoing strain can have a real impact.

Supporting your mental health begins with small, intentional steps. Talking to someone, gaining a better understanding of your body, and having access to the right care can make a meaningful difference.

Taking care of your mental health is part of taking care of your whole self. And you do not have to do it alone.

At June, we are here to support women with care that reflects the close connection between our mental and physical health đź’ś

It’s not just the tasks. It’s everything behind them.

The remembering, planning, and thinking ahead that never really switches off.

If you feel mentally exhausted, it makes sense. That’s not something you’re meant to carry on your own.

Support can help you feel more clear, more balanced, and more like yourself again.
