We need to talk about something that has become way too normalized this last year⌠from seeing celebrities, influencer trends, Ozempic, GLP-1, peptides, you name it.
The pursuit of being âskinnyâ at ALL costs.
A smaller body does not automatically mean a healthier body. (& Iâm not coming for you, especially if you have a naturally small figure!!-itâs the context in the post above)
I have seen so many women celebrate weight loss while their body is asking for help.
⨠Losing their period
⨠Constantly feeling exhausted
⨠Not eating enough to support their hormones
⨠Poor sleep and increased stress
⨠Losing strength instead of building it
And the hardest part?
The outside world often praises the very thing that is causing the inside to struggle.
A compliment that can make you âfeel goodâ for an Instant, but how does your body feel when you wake up? Period? Stressed? Hair falling out? To exhausted or weak to lift up or play with you kids Is it worth it?
Your body is so, SO much than how small you can make it.
I want women lifting weights, building strength, nourishing their bodies, supporting their hormones, and becoming resilient enough to tune out the constant noise telling them they need to be smaller to be worthy.
The goal was never to create the smallest version of yourself.
The goal is to create a body you trust.
A body you love.
A body you cherish.
A body you feel strong in.
A body you love living in. đ¤
If youâre ready to stop fighting your body and start working WITH it, Iâm here to help.
