Our Fall Honey Harvest is here, and the honey stand is officially REOPENED! 🐝
This year’s fall harvest has produced a beautiful, dark amber color and an incredibly rich, full flavor. It’s the perfect taste of fall — and we’re sure it won’t last long!

❤️ A SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FROM OUR FAMILY ❤️

Beginning this year, and moving forward, 50% of all honey sales will be donated directly to the Sawyer Fund.

The Sawyer Fund was created to honor the life of our son, Sawyer, and his love for the sport of wrestling. Each year, the fund will provide a scholarship to a graduating wrestler from North Schuylkill, helping us keep Sawyer’s memory and passion for the sport alive while supporting another young athlete as they begin the next chapter of their life.

What started as a love for beekeeping and honey has become something that allows us to honor Sawyer, give back, and keep his legacy going. ❤️

It’s late in the year but we’ve managed to catch a very large swarm!!
This swarm was combined with a struggling hive. You cannot beat the feeling of being surrounded by tens of thousands of bees.

🐝🍯 The girls are BUSY! 🍯🐝Our girls are hard at work gathering nectar and making that sweet honey to get ready for fall! 🍂🍯 Between all that work, they’re making sure to take plenty of water breaks too. 💦🐝We’re working hard behind the scenes to get everything ready, and we can’t wait to share our fall honey supply with you!🍁 Stay tuned… the sweet stuff is coming! 🍯

Update: The honey stand is now closed, we have sold out of all the spring honey! Thank you to everyone for the support. We will hopefully have fall honey available in the coming weeks and will keep everyone posted. Thank you again to all our loyal followers! 🐝🍯

The honey stand is open!

This year has been an extremely tough bee season. We started off losing 7 of 17 hives during the winter and into the start of spring. This was followed up by personal family tragedy which left the bees neglected. Despite this, we had almost all of our hives set up to produce a honey crop. That was until a few local bears paid us a visit and decimated our hives. We put the pieces back together yet again only to be hit a second time. We salvaged what we could but it took its toll on our apiary. I believe an April frost hurt the flowering plants and cut back nectar yields too.

We have a very small amount of spring honey available and are in a good position for a fall harvest provided the flowers corporate!

Spring has arrived, and we’re busy rebuilding our hives! The girls are hard at work, and before long the poplar trees will be in bloom and the nectar will be flowing. We’re still on track for our first honey harvest by the end of June. Stay tuned for updates—we can’t wait to share the sweet results! 🍯🐝

We want to sincerely thank everyone for your support over the past year—we truly appreciate it.

Just a quick reminder to our amazing customers: we’re a small, family-owned apiary, and all of our honey is produced locally right here in the Gordon area. We don’t source or resell honey from other suppliers, so once we sell out, you’ll have to wait until the next season for more. 😊

Unfortunately, we did lose a few hives this year, so we’ll be spending the next few months rebuilding part of our apiary. The good news is we plan to have fresh, local honey available again by the end of June.
