Hello, lovers of Jomaco!

Yesterday, I started my 30-Day Social Media Challenge, and today is DAY 2! 💃💃💃

Since we have new people joining this amazing community every day, I decided to officially reintroduce myself again.

My name is Mary Johnson Ukalom, popularly known as JOMACO.

I am a passionate Fashion Designer, Fashion Entrepreneur, Creative Director, and Fashion Educator.

I am the CEO of Jomaco Ankara Fashion House and the woman behind Jomaco Fashion Academy.

My journey in fashion is one that I am truly passionate about. I don’t just love creating beautiful outfits I also love teaching people the skills they need to become better fashion designers and creative entrepreneurs.

Over the years, I have trained students in different aspects of fashion, and one of the things that gives me so much joy is seeing my students grow, improve, and become confident in what they do.

From Ankara crafts to babies’ accessories, bridal accessories, corsetry, bustiers, wedding gowns, and lots more, my goal has always been to keep learning, creating, and sharing knowledge.

I strongly believe that your hands can change your story when you are willing to learn and remain consistent.

This page is more than just a fashion page. It is a community where we learn, grow, inspire one another, celebrate progress, and prove that creativity can become something profitable.

Hello everyone!
Let me introduce myself again, because we have new faces here and some of you may have been following me for a while without really knowing the woman behind Jomaco. 😍

My name is Mary Johnson Ukalom, popularly known as Jomaco, and I am a fashion entrepreneur, fashion designer, creative director, and fashion educator.

I am the CEO of Jomaco Ankara Fashion House and the Creative Director of Jomaco Fashion Academy, where I help aspiring and existing fashion creatives improve their skills and turn their creativity into something profitable.

I am passionate about fashion, Ankara crafts, accessories, bridal fashion, sewing and teaching.

Over the years, I have trained students both online and offline, and I have taught different aspects of fashion including Ankara craft, babies’ accessories, bridal accessories, corset and bustier making, wedding gowns, bags, shoes and lots more.
But here is something I want you to know about me…
I am not here just to show you beautiful clothes.

I want to teach, inspire, educate and help you see possibilities in your own hands.

Immediately I entered the hotel gate to go and wear my bride’s wedding dress, guess who came out with so much happiness? 😍😂

THE GROOM HIMSELF!

The excitement on his face was everything!

As soon as he saw me, he shouted:

“JOMACO! THE TRANSFORMATION QUEEN IS HERE!”

😂😂😂😂😂

Ahhhhh! The way I laughed ehn! 🤣🤣🤣

See me that came to do my work quietly and professionally, but the groom had already announced my arrival like a celebrity! 😂😂😂

Honestly, moments like this remind me that what I do goes beyond just sewing beautiful dresses.

I CREATE TRANSFORMATIONS!

From the drafting table to cutting, sewing, fittings and finally seeing the complete transformation on the wedding day… the journey is always beautiful.

And one thing about Jomaco?

I don't just sew the wedding dress and leave my bride to figure things out alone.

JOMACO CAN SHOW UP!

I can come personally to wear my bride’s dress, make sure everything sits perfectly and watch that beautiful transformation happen right before our eyes!

So imagine entering the hotel gate and the groom himself is already excited, shouting:

“THE TRANSFORMATION QUEEN IS HERE!”

At that point, I knew today was going to be beautiful!

Because there is something special about being appreciated—not just by your bride, but by the people around her who have seen the work, the creativity and the transformation you bring.
