Skandasana is a challenging pose!
As a beginner, practicing this in a more upright posture (maybe using a kitchen counter, your bed or couch) can be really helpful.
Also, heels touching the floor is super hard for most folks~ make it a bit more accommodating by having your heels on a folded blanket. You could also sit on some blocks or a bolster
