Day 32 of 124

The sadness facial expression is nothing more than a pronounced effect of gravity on the face and a full relaxation of the facial and ocular muscles.

The listed conflicting element here is jaw clenching, due to its likelihood to immediately precede anger or violence.

Most people go their whole lives misreading the people around them.

They take words at face value.

They miss what the body is actually saying. And they make decisions about who to trust, who to hire, who to let close - based on the wrong signals.

It doesn't have to be that way.

The Profiler is a 6 week cohort that teaches you to read people the way trained analysts do - spotting what someone's really feeling, what they're holding back, and what they need, often before they say a word.

By the end, you'll walk into any conversation and notice things you used to miss completely.

We keep the group small so you get real feedback, not just lectures.

Spots are limited and enrolment closes Sunday 28th June 12 midnight.

We say things like "oh, you need to step out of your comfort zone."

You don't have a comfort zone.

What you call a comfort zone is a perimeter around your nervous system, built around the things it couldn't finish processing.

That's it.

That's your comfort zone.

YOU'RE COMPETING WITH SOCIAL MEDIA

For years now, an article has been circulating the internet suggesting that people's attention span over time has been shrinking.

While it makes sense that this is factual, given that we are inundated with marketing, popups, ads, flashy videos, and non-stop notifications on our electronic devices, it's totally not.

Our attention spans aren't shrinking - they are evolving.

Human behaviour matters so much more than most people realise.

In every human decision and interaction, behaviour takes the reigns - mostly in the background, and without our knowledge.

So much of what influences us arrives through a nonverbal channel and secretly influences how we behave.

The shoulder shrug has been documented since Darwin first wrote about it in his journal musings in

the late lBOO's (Darwin, 1872). Today, t he shrug is widely accepted for meaning one of about four things, given contextual detail:

1. Uncertainty - Amplified by lHt

2. Surrender -Amplified by 3Ef

3. Fear -Amplified by 32Fr

4. Denial of guilt - Amplified by 45No

While some books and research articles cite this behaviour as being possibly deceptive, it has been observed by some (Coffman,1963) as mostly fear based.

The single sided shoulder shrug, however, is much more likely to be associated with deception in an interview scenario.

Day 30 of 124

Squinting the eyes has so many Hollywood connotations, but they are rarely seen in real life. The squint

is primarily a response to stress, disagreement, or anxiety.

A squint can also signify incredulity, confusion, or deep concentration. If the squint is seen simultaneously with a head tilt and raised eyebrows, it 's almost certain ly incredulity.

If the head is tilted while squinting and the eyebrows are narrowed or lowered, deep concentration is more likely to be the cause.
