🔥💜 I AM PROUD OF THE WOMAN WHO WALKED THROUGH THE FIRE 💜🔥
This morning, in the quiet between darkness and dawn, I sat with myself. Not the version of me the world sees. Not the titles I carry. Not the roles I fill. Not the expectations placed upon me. Just me. And from somewhere deep within my bones, beneath the scars, beneath the memories, beneath every lifetime I feel stitched into this one, four words rose like flame: I am proud of myself. There was a time I might have swallowed those words. We are so often taught to make ourselves smaller. To call our strength “luck.” To dismiss what we have overcome because someone else had it worse. To speak freely of our mistakes while whispering about our victories. But not today. Today I honor the woman who survived every version of herself she had to become in order to get here. I have walked through fire. I have known love that felt like sanctuary and pain that brought me to my knees. I have experienced beginnings that filled me with hope and endings I thought would destroy me. I have carried grief. I have carried anger. I have carried shame. I have carried guilt. I have carried things that were never mine to carry in the first place. And still... the flame never went out. Sometimes it was a roaring wildfire. Sometimes it was nothing more than one tiny ember buried beneath the ashes. But it remained. There were days I rose like the Phoenix. And there were days I crawled. Both count. There were times I knew exactly who I was, and others when I searched through the wreckage trying to find pieces of myself. Some pieces I reclaimed. Some I buried. And some I finally understood were never meant to follow me into the woman I was becoming. That is magick too. Not every transformation comes beneath a full moon with candles burning and incense curling toward the heavens. Sometimes transformation happens while you're crying on the bathroom floor. Sometimes it happens when you finally say enough. Sometimes it happens when you choose yourself. Sometimes the spell is simply waking up one more morning and deciding: I am still here. For years, I wondered why my road had to be so damn long. Why so many lessons came wrapped in heartbreak. Why wisdom seemed determined to introduce herself through fire. I may never know every answer. But I know this: The woman standing here now was forged by every single one of those flames. Not destroyed. Forged. And perhaps one of the greatest pieces of magick born from everything I have survived is this: I know how to recognize another person's ember. When someone is standing in their darkness, I don't need to pretend I know their path. I don't need to rescue them. I don't need to tell them how their story ends. I can simply sit beside them for a moment, hold a little light, and whisper: Your flame is still there. Because I know what it is to forget. I know what it is to search through ashes for proof that something inside you still burns. And I know what it is to finally discover that the fire you thought would consume you was illuminating the woman you were becoming. So today, without shrinking... without apologizing... without explaining... I am proud of myself. I am proud of the woman I was. I am proud of the woman I fought to become. I am proud of every scar that says, I healed. Every boundary that says, I learned. Every ending that says, I released. Every beginning that says, I believed again.Every flame that says, I AM STILL HERE. 🔥
And to whoever needs these words today... Look at everything you have walked through. Look at the nights you thought would never become mornings. Look at every version of you who carried you to this moment. Perhaps today isn't about becoming anything more. Perhaps today is about honoring who you already are. Put your hand over your heart. Feel that ancient little flame inside you. And say it. Not as an affirmation you are trying to believe. Say it as an incantation of remembrance: I am proud of you. I honor you. I forgive you. I choose you. And I will never again forget the fire you carry.
🔥💜
You were never meant to fear your fire. You were meant to remember that you are the flame.
Blessed Be, beautiful souls. 💜🔥
