Warum spielt Sauerstoff bei einer stagnierenden Wunde eine so wichtige Rolle?

Eine Wunde, die im Heilungsprozess nicht vorankommt, steckt häufig in der Entzündungsphase fest – und Sauerstoff spielt eine zentrale Rolle dabei, diesen Kreislauf zu durchbrechen. Er unterstützt den Zellstoffwechsel, die lokale Abwehr sowie die Granulation und Neubildung von Gewebe.
