I keep this picture as a memory.
I loved the body…
But I didn’t love the situation I was in after so many drastic changes.
Back in 2016, I decided to quit my corporate job.
I couldn’t see myself in the 9–5 circle anymore (I lasted only 8 months)
Seeing my kids shortly in the morning, rushing to pick them up from périscolaire at 6, then starting the second shift "being mum" at home until late at night.

I was questioning everything.
What is my purpose?
How can I do something meaningful, with passion, and actually feel alive?
How can I make a living out of my hobbies?

And because I'm an Aries, I changed everything in one go.
I quit my job.
I quit my marriage, even though I am eternally grateful to my ex-husband for 17 years of being my mentor. I learned a lot 🙏
I moved out of a beatiful house that I renovated to be a dream family home.
I started studying nutritional therapy in London and let me tell you the biochemistry was challenging 😊
Madness, right?
No income. No support.
And plenty of disappointed people, including my own kids.
To survive while studying, I taught yoga and HIIT, cycled to classes, worked crazy hours… hence the bikini body.

I didn’t give up. I kept going.
And now, I feel like I can finally put the old baggage down and start 2026 with a cleaner slate.

My goal?
To get this bikini body back, and this time without stress. Are you going to join me?

The other day, my daughter looked at me and said,
“Mum… why are you snorting like a wild animal?”

That’s Bhastrika K.D.
A forceful, energising breath that sounds dramatic but feels so liberating.
It wakes up your whole system in the best possible way.

When I first started hormone yoga therapy, I honestly found it confusing.
I didn’t understand the sequence, the logic, or the impact.

But the more I studied and practised, the more I realised what a masterpiece Dinah Rodrigues created.
A whole hormone-balancing routine, wrapped into 23 minutes, twice a week.

That’s it.
Simple and Powerful.
If you want to understand how it works, you can watch my workshop.
Or even better, join me in January for the 4-week challenge and learn the sequence with me.
Your hormones will thank you. Are you up for it?

Stinky breath and low calcium? This ingredient helps. 🌿

The green hero here is parsley.

It’s one of those old-school foods that does a lot quietly:
• rich in chlorophyll, which helps neutralise bad breath
• supports liver detox pathways, especially phase 2
• provides vitamin K, essential for calcium balance and bone health
• supports digestion and bile flow
• naturally antibacterial, helpful for oral and gut microbiome balance

And this takes me back to local markets in France.

They give it to you as a gift, a small gesture of thanks for being a loyal customer.

This is one of my typical breakfasts:
• 3 eggs for high-quality protein and satiety
• courgettes and carrots for fibre, beta-carotene, and gentle digestion
• a generous handful of parsley for minerals, detox support. I don't need it for fresh breath. If you know me, you know why 😂

Clean, simple eating doesn’t need to be complicated.
It needs to be consistent.

As you know, throughout January, I’m reviewing meals shared in the FREE WhatsApp group, giving real-life nutritional feedback and practical tweaks that actually work.

Sometimes I wish I had the Bocca della Verità in my office…
because the way my clients describe their eating habits is often full of blind spots, forgotten details and mismatched perspectives.

My clients tell me things like:

“I eat really healthy.”
“I hardly snack.”
“I don’t drink much.”
“I keep my meals light.”

And they mean it.
They truly believe they’re doing everything right.

Then we look a bit closer.

They proudly show me their salad at lunch…
and later remember the glass of wine they have every evening.

They say they don’t snack…
and then recall the handful of nuts between meetings, or the granola after dinner.

They say they eat ‘light’…
which usually means hardly any protein and mostly carbs like rice cakes!!!

Their perspective often doesn’t match what their body actually needs.

And this matters, especially for perimenopausal women.
What works for a 17-year-old football player (like my son) simply won’t work for a sedentary midlife woman.
Different hormones.
Different metabolism.
Different stress.
Different energy demands.

Energy in. Energy out.
Energy doesn’t disappear — it transforms.

Here are the patterns I see again and again:

➡️ Alcohol as a reward after a stressful day
➡️ “Healthy” snacking that still adds up
➡️ Plain carbs with almost no protein or fibre
➡️ Running on coffee and tea all day
➡️ Forgetting how little movement the day included

If the Mouth of Truth could reveal the forgotten details of your eating habits, what would it show?

If I could adopt all stray dogs, I would 🐾
10 years ago, I came across a Facebook post from SOS psíky Slovakia about two beautiful dogs rescued from a gypsy colony near Bardejov.
I drove from Basel to Pardubice and then all the way to Bardejov to bring them home.
4000 km in total, and it was absolutely worth it 💫
It’s been 10 years of love, loyalty, and daily moments I will never forget, but also 10 years of discipline.
A dog doesn’t care about your mood, your agenda, or the weather. You go for a walk no matter what, and that simple habit changes more than you think.
From a functional medicine and holistic perspective, you support your well-being in a natural way. You move more, you get morning sunlight, your stress levels go down, and even your nervous system benefits when you cuddle a dog and increase oxytocin.
For children, it’s also a beautiful lesson in gentleness, respect, and responsibility, something you can’t really teach with words alone.
So if you are thinking about it, don’t buy, adopt 💛
You won’t just save a dog, you will change your own life more than you expect.

Can you guess why I wouldn’t eat this meal on a date? 😄

But because I know my biochemistry, my liver Phase 1 and 2 detox pathways, and precisely what asparagus does to my… let’s say bodily odour 🙃

Asparagus contains sulphur compounds, especially asparagusic acid.
When your body breaks it down, it produces volatile sulphur metabolites. These are quickly excreted in urine, which is why the smell appears so fast.
Not everyone can smell it, but if you can, you really can 😊

From a functional medicine point of view, this actually tells us something valuable.
Asparagus strongly stimulates liver detoxification and sulphur metabolism. It supports glutathione production and helps the body process waste efficiently.

Great for detox, maybe not ideal right before a romantic evening 😉

Now the good news.

Frozen asparagus is still an excellent choice. Freezing preserves fibre, phytonutrients, minerals, and even protein. You might lose a bit of vitamin C, but that’s it.
For a busy mum of two, frozen vegetables are a lifesaver, and I fully support them as part of clean, sustainable eating.

Let’s look at this meal nutritionally, because it’s actually perfect.

• Wild-caught salmon
High-quality protein and omega-3 fatty acids support brain health, inflammation control, hormones, and satiety.

• Asparagus
Liver support, gentle diuretic effect, supports detox pathways and gut motility.

• Broccoli
Rich in sulforaphane, supports estrogen metabolism and liver detoxification, powerful antioxidant activity.

• Courgette
Low-carb, easy to digest, high water content, supports hydration and gut comfort.

This is very much a Mediterranean-style plate, balanced, anti-inflammatory, and supportive for metabolic health.

As you know, throughout January I’m giving feedback on real meals shared in the FREE WhatsApp challenge, and this one gets a big yes from me from a nutritional point of view 👍

I love pancakes… always have and always will 😊
And I don’t see them as a “treat” but rather a healthy meal.

For me, it’s about higher standards for my family and me, not restrictions.

I grind my own flaxseeds, because pre-milled ones oxidise quickly and lose their benefits.
I keep them in a glass jar in the fridge, take 2 spoons, soak them in liquid for at least 20 minutes (often overnight), then add psyllium husk (soluble fibre) and a high-quality vegan protein powder with real vanilla or dark cocoa.

I alternate brands and test new ideas. Some are good, and some taste horrible 🫣

As a liquid base, I use sheep milk, which contains non-inflammatory A2 casein, because I know I tolerate it well.

I tested my MCM6 gene, so lactose is not my issue.
I do have a genetic predisposition to gluten intolerance (HLA-DQ2 & DQ8), so I avoid gluten most of the time.
This is exactly why I value DNA testing, you stop guessing and start eating with a reason. A DNA test is actually not expensive, and the results never change, so it is the best investment.
I tested all my family members 😂

Back to pancakes:

For carbs, I use buckwheat flour, almond flour, or sometimes gluten-free oats.
On top, melted dark chocolate (80% cocoa), add seasonal berries, kiwi, pineapple, or apple.

If I know I’ll be active, I might add a bit of gluten-free Nocciolata or homemade jam from local farmers.

Simple. Flexible. Enjoyable every single time 🎯

Two pancakes, around 45 g of protein and 20 g of fibre, and no guilt 😊

This is how small dietary habit changes look in real life.
You don’t remove foods you love, you upgrade them.

Do you think I gave my client positive feedback on this meal? 👀🍽️

As you might know, this week I’m reviewing real meal photos my clients share in the FREE WhatsApp group, where I support them through the first steps of their New Year reset.
Safe, sustainable, achievable changes that actually work.

I personally don’t eat meat very often because I don’t enjoy the taste, and with my dolichocolon, it tends to constipate me.
My kids, on the other hand, love meat and eat it almost daily.

From a nutritional point of view, this meal is very well balanced 👍
• Low carb, no fast carbs like pasta, bread, or rice
• A generous 4–5 portions of vegetables 🥦
• Around 20 to 25g of animal protein

If I were to make one tweak to shift it into a more anti-inflammatory direction, I’d avoid tomatoes and aubergine 🍅🍆

They belong to the nightshade family.
Nightshades contain compounds that can irritate the gut lining and stimulate the immune system.
For some people, especially those with gut inflammation, joint pain, autoimmune symptoms, migraines, or skin flare-ups, they can quietly worsen their symptoms.

During my FREE METABOLIC RESET challenge, they’re often worth removing.

And yes, we cover this adequately in the group.
I guide you through a simple elimination diet, explain who actually benefits from it, and share a practical shopping list so it doesn’t feel complicated.

If you haven’t joined the group yet, now is the time.
The first 7 days matter more than you think.

You know what works for my clients and me?
➡️ The 80/20 rule
We always want what we think we can’t have.
Basic psychology.
Your relationship with food is like your relationship with a person.
If someone you fancy suddenly stops calling or texting, you want them even more.
You push boundaries.
You become needy.
You lose yourself a bit.
🍫 Food does the same thing to your brain.
The more you restrict, the more you crave.
The more rules you create, the more likely you are to break them.
Then comes the guilt…
And the cycle starts again.
What I teach my clients instead is simple.
➡️ Break the emotional habit.
➡️ Replace the trigger foods with guilt-free alternatives.
➡️ Build meals that satisfy your hormones, not punish them.
And believe me, those alternatives exist.
Delicious. Nourishing. Enjoyable.

Why is this combo so powerful for gut health? 🥬🍍🐟
Red cabbage
One of my favourite gut foods.
It’s rich in fibre, supports the gut lining, and has well-known anti-ulcer properties thanks to compounds that help protect and repair the stomach mucosa.

Pineapple contains bromelain, an enzyme that supports protein digestion, reduces inflammation, and can ease bloating after meals. It’s especially helpful when protein is on the plate.

And the protein stars 💫
Sardines are naturally rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help calm inflammation, support gut integrity, and benefit hormones and the brain.
If you eat the tiny bones, you also get calcium and phosphorus, crucial for bone health, especially for women 40+.
Just 3 small sardines provide roughly 25–28 g of protein, which is precisely what we aim for in one meal.

When I was growing up, we often ate them with butter and onion on a slice of žítný chléb MOSKVA, which simply means rye bread in English.

As you know, all January I’m giving feedback on meals shared in the FREE WhatsApp group. This is how we build habits that last, not just another resolution that fades by February.
