Endometriosis, infertility, PCOS, hypothyroidism, insulin resistance... Most women come to me thinking their hormones are “the problem,” when in reality, hormones are the last thing to fall out of balance.

What I see over and over is that the real root cause hides one level deeper, and that's what functional medicine is about—looking at the function of the whole system and putting the puzzles together.

Here’s the pattern:

➡️ Blood sugar instability from “healthy” breakfasts or STRESS that spikes insulin
➡️ Chronic inflammation from silent food sensitivities or STRESS
➡️ Gut dysbiosis from antibiotics, constipation or STRESS
➡️ Overloaded detox pathways due to genetics
➡️ Viral reactivation drains energy and immunity
➡️ Cortisol highs and lows masking as “fatigue,” “anxiety,” or “PMS”

Hormones often respond to the chaos, not create it.

This is why so many women feel confused.
Their GP checks estrogen, progesterone, TSH and says everything is “normal”… yet nothing feels normal.
My question is also "compare to what and who?"

It’s not about blaming your hormones but understanding why they’re struggling.

And once we correct the root causes, hormone balance becomes a natural side effect.

Small daily action.
Consistent habits.
Precision testing.
Targeted nutrition.
That’s the real formula.

So tell me:
If I had a magic wand and could fix ONE thing in your health right now, what would that be?

Do you need support from your environment when you want to make a lifestyle change?

Most women would say YES… and this is exactly where things start to fall apart when you decide to lose weight and change your habits.

You start eating more protein, maybe a light salad with chicken for dinner instead of pasta, and suddenly the question is what do I cook for the whole family, or " How do I sit at the breakfast table when I’m doing intermittent fasting and not eat?

Then you go to a party; you don’t drink alcohol, you don’t eat what everyone else eats, and people keep asking, pushing, questioning because your change makes them uncomfortable with their own choices.

And this is where it gets interesting.

You don’t fail because you don’t know what to do.
You fail because you are not ready to hold the change when it becomes uncomfortable.

Your behaviour, your impulses, your need to belong, your way of coping with pressure… this is the real work that my successful female clients had to overcome.

I can give you the best meal plan, supplements, strategies for blood glucose and hormones, and all the functional medicine knowledge step by step.

But if you are not mentally, emotionally, and spiritually prepared, you go back to old patterns.

That’s why I combine nutritional therapy and functional medicine, and recommend brilliant health and life coaching with Sam, Migena, and Lina.

If you say, " Enough is enough, and you are ready to take action, let’s chat.

👀 I spy with my little eye… something missing on this plate.
Can you guess what it is?

At first glance, it looks like a very healthy meal 🥗
Colourful vegetables 🌈
Sprouts are full of digestive enzymes 🌱
Leafy greens ✔️

But if I ate this, I’d be hungry again in about an hour.
And most likely craving something sweet 🍫

Why?
👉 There’s no protein

This is one of the most common mistakes I see.
You clean up your diet, eat “healthy”, join the gym… and still feel tired, hungry and frustrated.

Your gym coach might tell you to eat 2 g of protein per kg of body weight.
That makes sense for an Olympic athlete 🏋️‍♀️
But what if:
➡️ your kidneys are not filtering well
➡️ you’re not training twice a day

You most probably don't need as much, and to be honest. It is pretty challenging to stick to such an amount daily without digestive drama. Stinky farts and constipation!

I suggest you start with a realistic guideline of 0.8–1.5 g of protein per kg.

So what does that look like in real life?

If you weigh around 60 kg and eat 3 meals a day
👉 Aim for about 20 g of protein per meal.

That means this plate could easily work with:
🥚 3 eggs + a spoon of tahini
🌱 or edamame, pumpkin seeds and tahini if you’re vegan
🐟 or salmon, chicken, eggs or cottage cheese if you’re omnivorous

You won’t believe what I found when I opened it. My diary is called End Procrastination.
The creator is from my hometown, Pardubice, so I was excited to purchase the whole package and support this fantastic idea.
I decorated it, personalised it, read his book, watched his podcasts, took notes, and highlighted everything.
The “what to do” was crystal clear.

Today I opened it again and looked at my 2017 goals.
Seven tasks.
Seven dreams.
And I completed six of them.

But one goal keeps coming back every single year.
It follows me like a shadow.
It’s the goal 99.9 per cent of women want, but very few ever achieve.
And yes, it’s directly connected to my job.
I teach it every day.
My knowledge on this topic is enormous.
Yet even I had it on my list every single year and never achieved it. Why???
I wasn't motivated enough, and it wasn't really my priority; nonetheless, I will slightly modify it and have it on my list again😂

Curious what it is?

Guess in the comments.
Your guesses will say a lot about what you desire too.

And if you’re not curious at all, then at least check out the book End Procrastination by .ludwig
It’s one of the best gifts for someone who knows exactly what to do, but needs help doing it.

New Year’s resolution season is just around the corner 🎯🎉💫

Consistency isn’t glamorous, but it’s the thing that actually changes lives.

Mañana 😊
When I’m on holiday, I don’t feel the need to eat as much, and I sleep like a baby.
I hear this all the time from my clients, and you might recognise yourself in this too.
You’re relaxed, present, not rushing from one task to another, and suddenly your body feels… different.
Often, we don’t eat because we are physically hungry.
We eat because we are tired, overwhelmed, bored, or trying to fill something that food will never fix.
This is what Jung described as the shadow, the parts of us we don’t fully see or don’t want to face, so we soothe instead of address.
Holiday doesn’t fix it.
The environment changes, the stress drops, and for a moment everything feels easier, but then you come back… and the patterns are still there.
That’s why the real work is not the perfect meal plan or the latest supplement.
It’s awareness, acceptance, and then action.
I can give you the strategy, the tests, the nutrition, and the movement.
But if you don’t make it a priority and follow through, nothing changes.
You can start creating a different environment, different habits, and a different relationship with your body today…

I often choose ugly-looking vegetables. Can you guess why? 😊

Most people would leave these behind. I pick them first, and local farmers love me as a customer 😉

There is something I really enjoy about it
standing there, choosing the “imperfect” ones, knowing they often have more to offer

When a plant grows in a harsh environment, it has to PROTECT itself
It produces more polyphenols and antioxidants to survive sun, wind, and pests

These compounds help reduce inflammation, support detox pathways, and protect your cells from oxidative stress

You can taste it too 😊
More bitter, more pungent
Have you ever tried rocket in Italy vs supermarket taste?

If you don’t have access to local farmers, you can look into crowdfarming projects 🌱

Food is not just calories
It’s INFORMATION for your body

This is one small piece of the functional medicine matrix I teach my clients
understanding what you eat, why it matters, and how it actually makes you feel

If you’re curious how this connects to your hormones, digestion, and energy
just message me 😊

She said, “I’m eating healthy but still gaining weight”,… typical mistakes which I share with you below. Check if you make the same dietary and lifestyle mistakes and how to avoid them.

Women in perimenopause, training harder, eating less, trying to fight the changing body.
More cardio, pushing so hard without a recovery strategy
Less food, living on salad, eaten in a hurry, with a lack of protein and complex carbs.
More frustration and mid-life crisis on multiple levels

And the result?

More stress with high cortisol, disturbed sleep and cravings.
More stubborn belly fat, brain fog and fatigue

I get it, even though I know what I know (knowledge is power), but practice is another story.
I’m 47, and bikini season is around the corner too, so I feel the pressure😊

But hormones don’t respond well to extremes.
They respond to STRATEGY.

Undereating slows your metabolism.
Overexercising increases stress load.
Your body holds on; it doesn’t let go.

Psychology in nutritional therapy focuses on questions that help you uncover the limiting beliefs and repetitive patterns in emotional reactions, desires (wants and needs), impulses, inhibitions, drive states, and reflex responses.

Where have you created restrictions in your eating?
Cutting carbs?
Skipping meals ?
Fear of fats?

From a functional medicine perspective, this is where we start.
Not with another diet, but with understanding your body.
Diets are not sustainable. Lifestyle changes are the key to sustainable weight loss and longevity.

Balancing blood sugar to prevent insulin resistance, the driver of inflammation
Supporting thyroid hormones, which are responsible for metabolism and so much more
Reducing inflammation with anti-inflammatory foods and supplements
Eating enough protein and micronutrients to avoid sarcopenia and osteopenia

If this resonates, take a moment and reflect on your own patterns.
And if you want a practical starting point,
I created a FREE workshop on perimenopause with simple tips you can apply straight away.

Oura ring, Garmin, Apple Watch, Whoop…
It really doesn’t matter which device you use.
What matters is that you have one and know how to interpret the data correctly!

Purchasing the Oura ring in 2021 was one of the best decisions I ever made.

Oura helped me to go through the perimenopause rollercoaster when I couldn’t sleep, felt irritated, exhausted, wired, but tired.

It helped me decide to start HRT early, before the symptoms became unbearable.
It showed me how food, supplements, stress and exercise… all changed my readiness.
Every morning I look at my data and I understand myself a little more.

And because of that, I recorded a complete workshop about hormones, ovulation tracking and natural conception.
So many women got pregnant without IVF simply because they finally understood their own cycle.

If you’re 40+ and navigating perimenopause or trying to conceive after 35…
Check my hormone yoga therapy free preview course and learn to track your cycle.

➡️ “I took all the supplements, and nothing happened. I didn’t lose weight.”
I hear this almost every week.
We live in a world that sells shortcuts.
✨ Magic weight-loss pills.
✨ Miracle fat-burning machines.
✨ Mushrooms for every mood.
✨ Programmes we never follow.
✨ Books we never read.
Everyone wants the result.
Almost no one wants the discipline and consistency it requires.
Last year, I created my first vision board.
All nine Feng Shui quadrants —
💛 Love
💚 Health
💙 Family
💰 Abundance
💼 Career
🎨 Creativity
🧘 Spirituality
✈️ Travel
🤝 Community
I didn’t set deadlines.
I simply chose three categories each day and did one thing that moved me closer to my dream.
Did everything manifest?
No.
Because I didn’t act on everything.
➡️ The grass grew where I watered it:
Business, education, travel, and friendships.

➡️ And it dried out where my focus wasn’t this year:
Romantic relationship, social media, and hardest to admit: self-care 🫣
So 2026 is my hurry slowly year.
What about you?
➡️ What are you going to focus on this year?
Send me a message, and I’ll share my vision board workbook with you for inspiration.
