Your lower back and hips will love this one. 🙌
Most of us only ever move our spine one way — or barely at all. This takes it end to end.
You flow between two positions: press up into extension so the front of the body lengthens, then sit the hips back with the knees wide and reach long — the spine rounds and decompresses while the hips open through the inner thigh.
One smooth flow, and you get:
– spinal mobility
– hip mobility in multiple planes — flexion, abduction, a little rotation
– that gliding, oscillating quality that leaves the whole area feeling less stuck
Perfect as a warm-up, or a reset after a long day of sitting.
Keep it slow and stay in a range that feels good — it’s not about forcing depth, it’s about owning the movement.
How does your lower back feel after a few rounds — looser or working? 👇
🔖 Save this for your next reset — and send it to someone who sits all day.
