Women change. Hormones shift. myLoop powered by CamAPS FX adapts.

Hormonal and physiological changes, from the menstrual cycle to puberty, pregnancy and menopause, can influence glucose patterns and insulin needs.

These changes can affect diabetes management by altering insulin sensitivity, eating habits and hypoglycaemia risk, which makes glucose patterns harder to predict. How can diabetes technology support care as those needs change?

Last Thursday, 8 October, at IADPSG Congress 2026 in Girona, we discussed this question with Professor Helen Murphy, Professor Rosa Corcoy and Professor Veronica Resi. The interactive round table explored life stages from puberty and fertility to pregnancy, postpartum and menopause, with a particular focus on pregnancy.
