A frequent problem my clients come to me with is having no time for themselves. Before “me-time” they feel the need to do a huge number of activities serving others or those that “have to be done”. Each time a task is complete, another one shows its urgency.
“I will rest after I have done enough useful things”. I ask such client: “Who defines enough?” and “When will enough happen?”.
This seems especially relevant during Covid. We are locked at home and expect to be bored from only resting.. but are we?
