Temperatures were high in Geneva this week, but so was the level of discussion for the NCD Policy Lab 2026!
Over the past two days in Geneva, partners from the NCD Policy Lab ecosystem, CRONICAS - Centro de Excelencia en Enfermedades Crónicas, HPAC, Université de Genève and ONG Santé Diabète, came together for a coordination meeting to review progress, reflect on lessons learned, and shape the next phase of collaboration.
The conversations were not only about what had been achieved, but also about what had been learned. What worked well? What proved more difficult than expected? What lessons emerged, and how should they inform future activities?
Through presentations, discussions, and collaborative brainstorming sessions, partners exchanged experiences, identified challenges, and explored opportunities to strengthen the collective impact of the NCD Policy Lab .
Looking ahead, discussions focused on priorities for the next years and ways to enhance collaboration and synergies across countries and institutions.
One theme consistently emerged: meaningful progress depends not only on generating evidence, but also on creating opportunities to learn from one another.
The insights shared during these days will help guide the next chapter of the NCD Policy Lab's work to advance access to NCD care, medicines, and technologies through the adoption of evidence-informed policies.
A sincere thank you to our partners for their engagement, insights, and continued partnership. Looking forward to translating these discussions into action! 🚀
