Name : spaceship. Dim : 42x59.4 cm Year : 2015
It always starts the same: a dot, a line, a diagonal.
Then intuition takes over. The mind obeys, and it begins a sort of celebration.
A constant negotiation between hand and mind. Or maybe hand and heart ? I follow, but never fully rest.
And then, without warning, a line takes off in a completely unexpected direction.
I panic. That’s it. It’s ruined !!! 💀
But something in me whispers: keep going 👼🏼
Sometimes I hate that line for a while.
It disrupts everything I’d carefully built.
But slowly, I forget it. I lose it in the whole.
And by the time the drawing is complete,
I no longer know where that line even is.
But I remember thanking it before it disappeared into the rest. In any case, this time, this intuitive work gives the appearance of a spaceship.
