One of the most overlooked sleep tips? Choosing bedding that suits the season. Overheating is a huge sleep disruptor 🌙💤

Your sleep sanctuary starts with comfort 💤 A mattress that properly supports YOUR body can make such a difference to how comfortable and settled you feel throughout the night 😴

You wouldn’t go from 100mph to zero and expect your body not to notice… so why do we expect our brains to do exactly that at bedtime?
Whether you’ve been working, scrolling, watching TV, out for dinner or just had a busy evening, your body needs cues that the day is ending.
Dim the lights. Lower the stimulation. Put the phone down. Take a warm shower. Stretch. Breathe. Read.
It doesn’t need to be a perfect hour-long routine. Even a short, consistent wind-down can help teach your brain what comes next.
Sleep doesn’t start when your head hits the pillow. 😴
It starts with how you prepare for it. 🤍

What if I told you one of the most powerful things you can do for your health is completely FREE? 😴

Sleep affects almost EVERYTHING - your mood, energy, hormones, brain, immune system, appetite, relationships and yes… even your s*x life 👀

Yet it’s still the first thing so many of us sacrifice.

We spend so much time trying to eat better, move more and look after ourselves… but good health starts with good sleep.

Tonight, don’t just “go to bed.” Prioritise your sleep like your health depends on it - because it does. ❤️

Your better night’s sleep might actually start in the morning. ☀️
Getting outside into natural daylight after you wake up helps set your body clock, which influences when you feel alert during the day and when your body starts preparing for sleep later.
It doesn’t need to be complicated. Get outside, get some natural light into your eyes, and let your brain know: the day has started.
One of the simplest things you can do for tonight’s sleep… happens hours before bedtime.

Save this for tomorrow morning. ☀️😴

Keep waking up at 2, 3 or 4am? 🌙

First: waking during the night is actually normal.
We naturally move through different stages and cycles of sleep, and brief awakenings can happen between them - most of the time, we don’t even remember them.
The problem often starts with what happens next.
You check the clock.
You calculate how many hours you’ve got left.
You start worrying about tomorrow.
And suddenly your brain has gone from sleepy to fully alert. 🙆‍♀️

So tonight, try this:

✨ Don’t check the time.
✨ Keep the lights low.
✨ Stay off your phone.
✨ Slow your breathing and soften your body.
✨ Remind yourself: “Being awake right now is okay. Sleep can come back.”

And if you’re lying there getting increasingly frustrated, get out of bed for a little while. Do something quiet in low light and return when you start feeling sleepy again.
The goal is to stop teaching your brain that waking up in the night is an emergency.
Tonight’s challenge: turn that clock away. No more 3am sleep maths. 😂

Save this for tonight - and send it to someone who’s permanently awake at 3am. ❤️

If you’re trying to recover your sleep, stop judging yourself on one night.
Sleep naturally varies.
Some nights you’ll sleep beautifully. Other nights you won’t. And that doesn’t mean you’ve gone backwards.
Recovery from poor sleep is rarely a perfectly straight line.
One of the things I want you to rebuild is confidence in your ability to sleep.
So after a difficult night, instead of thinking, “Oh God, here we go again,” try not to spend the whole next day analysing it or worrying about what will happen tonight.
Keep your wake time reasonably consistent. Get some daylight. Move your body. Carry on with your day as normally as you comfortably can.
And remind yourself: one bad night does not predict the next one.
Stop measuring every night as a success or a failure.
Look at the bigger picture.
Because good sleep isn’t about achieving perfection every single night.
It’s about helping your body trust sleep again.

☕️ Caffeine doesn’t actually take your tiredness away.
It blocks adenosine - the chemical messenger that builds up throughout the day and creates your natural sleep pressure.
So you might feel more alert after a coffee, but the adenosine hasn’t magically disappeared. It’s still building in the background.
And when the caffeine starts to wear off? That tiredness can come flooding back.
This is why you can feel exhausted, drink caffeine, feel temporarily human again… and then wonder why you crash later. 😴
Caffeine isn’t necessarily the enemy. Timing, dose and your individual sensitivity matter.

Save this for the next time you’re tempted to use another coffee to “fix” tiredness. ☕️💤
