We are a team of engineers from ILT at OST, with backgrounds in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering as well as Health Sciences and Technology and passionate in building the next generation of exoskeletons.

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

We’re thrilled to introduce the mini version of our groundbreaking Enhanced Hybrid! This model demonstrates the transfomable structure as one key feature of the revolutionary mobility aid. Switching between wheelchair and exoskeleton enables climbing stairs, communication on eye level, and overcoming high steps.

Thanks to the incredible support from FAULHABER Drive Systems, we've successfully replicated the original Enhanced Hybrid on a smaller scale.

But that's not all – you can also be part of the experience by playing the “Enhanced Hybrid Game”!

Meet Simon

Simon is truly an all-rounder. Give him a variety of tasks, and you can be sure he will come up with a solution. His primary responsibilities include designing user interfaces and fine-tuning accessories for our prototypes. For example, he creatively mounts handheld devices onto crutches to ensure they are user-friendly for our pilots.

Fun Facts about Simon:

During breaks, he enjoys drinking coffee from an enormous cup.
His sense of humor, combined with his Appenzell dialect, makes him even more amusing.
This year, he won an award for the best bachelor's thesis in the field of digital health.
In his free time, Simon loves traveling around the world and meeting new people. He is also a passionate gardener, maintaining an impressive garden at home.

What motivates Simon to develop new rehabilitation aids for people with disabilities?
Simon worked for several years in orthopedic technology, developing prostheses, wheelchairs, and modern orthoses. This experience showed him how rewarding it is to help individuals with limited mobility regain their abilities and support them in rehabilitation.
