There is a clear line.
So clear.
Which divides the city from the world.
This line has no name.
No one has ever drawn it.
Nobody can see it.
Whoever is inside a car cannot know it.
And I know her well though.
And I recognize it.
Every time I go over there.
When, with the motorbike, I leave the city
at night to go and see what lies beyond.
And the air gets colder.
Wet.
And the perfumes appear. Perfumes that I cannot say, that cross the universe in front of my nose.
And they envelop me in a more peaceful world.
In which I enter serenely, guided by the innocent light of my little lighthouse.
The line is now far away.
The kilometers roll lazily in the barely illuminated clock.
The hand moves, oscillates and indicates a speed as if undecided.
But out of the line, speed doesn't matter anymore. Nobody is in a hurry.
Nobody waits.
