🫣⚡️Hitting the saphenous nerve with dry needling can result in the following sensation to the skin:⁠

Along the medial knee, medial calf, the inside of the ankle - including the medial malleolus, and the inner arch of the foot🦶.

🤫Because of the saphenous nerve⚡️, which runs manly under the sartorius muscle and is one of the precautions, dry needling of this muscle is done with the pincer grip🤌.⁠

it runs over the muscle - from its origin to the insertion in the region of the medial aspect of the knee.⁠

As you remember💡🤫, there are other muscles, causing referred pain in parts of the referred pain area of the sartorius muscle, such as vastus medialis muscle and adductor longus muscle.⁠
