The Association of Future African Neurosurgeons (AFAN) is pleased to announce its newly appointed Executive Council for the 2026 tenure.

This team brings passion, vision, and a strong commitment to mentorship, excellence, and the advancement of neurosurgery across Africa.

The Association of Future African Neurosurgeons (AFAN) had the honor of hosting a webinar on “Neurosurgery: Current Landscape, Guiding Medical Students In Africa” presented by Oyeleye Egunjobi

Dr Egunjobi is a specialist registrar in neurosurgery at University Hospitals, Birmingham, UK and also a fellow of the European Board of Neurosurgeons. He shared critical insights into his journey - from being a medical student in Nigeria to securing a spot in one of the most competitive neurosurgery programs.
