Many people with vitiligo experience recurring white patches and slower repigmentation ✨
It doesn’t necessarily mean the treatment isn’t working—it may be that some daily care details have been overlooked!
❌ Neglecting sun protection — UV exposure may damage melanocytes
❌ Dry skin and scratching — may trigger the Koebner phenomenon
❌ Staying up late and overexertion — may disrupt immune balance
❌ An unbalanced diet — may place additional stress on skin metabolism
Scientific skin care + standardized treatment can help keep vitiligo under control and reduce the risk of recurrence!

From a Patient’s Trust to a Journey of Recovery 🤍

Behind every recovery story is a patient who once felt worried, uncertain, and far from home.

From the first consultation to follow-up conversations, what matters most is trust, communication, and staying committed to the treatment journey.

The messages in this story say it all:

“Everything is fine. Thank you so much.”
“We trust you.”
“Thank you, doctor.”

For patients traveling from another country, every step can feel unfamiliar. Knowing that someone is listening, answering questions, and supporting you along the way can make a real difference.

🌿 Every patient has a different journey.
🤝 Every trust is worth cherishing.
✨ Every step forward matters.

Thank you for choosing to trust us with your journey.

Vitiligo Can Be Managed and Treated
Choose the Right Treatment Strategy Based on Disease Stage
Although vitiligo is associated with an autoimmune dysfunction that damages melanocytes—the pigment-producing cells in the skin—we are not powerless against it.

Today, there are established and scientifically supported treatment options for vitiligo. If you notice white patches, it is recommended to seek medical attention as early as possible and undergo appropriate treatment under the guidance of a dermatologist. Following a personalized treatment plan and using medications appropriately can help control the condition and promote gradual repigmentation.

However, to find the right way to help the skin “restore its color,” we first need to understand the stage of vitiligo—whether it is in the active/progressive stage, when new patches may appear or existing ones may expand, or the stable stage, when the condition has remained relatively unchanged. Treatment principles differ between these two stages.[5]

Progressive Stage

During this stage, the immune system may remain highly active and continue to attack melanocytes. Existing white patches may expand, while new patches can appear on other parts of the body. Blurred borders, inflammatory vitiligo, a trichrome pattern, or confetti-like depigmented macules may suggest active disease.

At this stage, the priority is to “hit the brakes” as early as possible—controlling the abnormal immune response, protecting remaining melanocytes, and helping prevent further spread of the white patches.

Stable Stage

At this stage, disease activity has become relatively quiet, but the melanocytes previously damaged or lost still need to be restored or stimulated to produce pigment again. Vitiligo that appears porcelain-white with clearly defined borders and has shown no new patches or enlargement of existing patches for approximately one year is generally considered stable.

During the stable stage, comprehensive treatment may be considered, combining different therapeutic approaches to promote repigmentation and improve overall treatment outcomes.
