From Hangzhou to Samarkand — Advancing Tumor Ablation Together 🌏
A medical expert team from The Fourth Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine recently traveled from Hangzhou, China, to Samarkand State Medical University in Uzbekistan.
Together with local doctors, they successfully performed three challenging liver tumor ablation procedures using Curaway’s .
The team included a chief surgeon from general surgery, a hepatobiliary surgeon, an ultrasound specialist, an anesthesiologist, a biomedical engineer, and an operating room nurse.
From 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the team completed three cases of high-risk liver tumor ablations — all procedures were successfully accomplished, and patients’ families expressed heartfelt gratitude afterward.
