The dentistry of the future is also being built within universities.

Last week, Tulio Souza, WOSON’s Operations Manager for Latin America, was in Santiago, Chile, visiting important educational institutions that have chosen WOSON technology to elevate the clinical experience and the training of future dental professionals.

The agenda included visits to: Universidad Diego Portales and UNAB – Universidad Andrés Bello, both of which invested in WODO Mille dental units. At Universidad Andrés Bello, the WOSON team was welcomed by Operations Director Mr. Christian Reyes, further strengthening the connection between technology, education, and clinical excellence.

We also visited Universidad Santo Tomás, which selected WOZO dental units to equip its clinical and academic environments. At the institution, we were welcomed by Clinical Director Ms. Isabel Aguirre y Alexander, in a meeting marked by the exchange of experiences and a shared vision for the future of university dentistry.

WOSON was pleased to carry out these visits alongside its Chilean partner José Miguel Guilleminot, General Manager of EXPRO DENTAL, strengthening connections and expanding the commitment to dental excellence across Latin America.

More than equipment, these universities are investing in technology, ergonomics, comfort, and performance to prepare the next generation of dentistry professionals.

Update, knowledge, and biosafety at the center of the conversation.

The Workshop “Updates and Procedures for Dental Devices according to RDC 1002/2025,” led by Professor Dr. Mônica Romero, brought together dental professionals for a morning of learning, experience sharing, and discussions about the new regulatory landscape of Brazilian dentistry.

At a time of major changes for clinics and dental practices, discussing processes, sterilization, documentation, and compliance is no longer just a technical matter — it has become part of building a safer, more modern, and future-ready dentistry.

On May 23rd, sport, health, and purpose came together at the Training Center of São Paulo Futebol Clube in Cotia.

WOSON, alongside Odonto Fitness and São Paulo Futebol Clube, took part in a special awareness initiative focused on oral health in sports, bringing guidance, prevention, and care to the club’s youth athletes.

Led by Dr. Giselle Maffei, with the presence of WOSON director Marco Souza and consultant Daniela Vitorino, the initiative reinforced the importance of oral health for athletes’ performance, recovery, and overall well-being.

In addition to distributing oral hygiene kits and providing supervised brushing activities, the action also highlighted the dental center’s infrastructure, equipped with WOSON biosafety and sterilization solutions, contributing to a safer and more efficient clinical routine within the sports environment.

Because great results begin with the right choices. And choices speak for themselves.
