Estrogen is your Beyoncé hormone. 👑

Follicular phase and ovulation? She’s running the show. You feel confident, social, magnetic, switched on, creative. You want to be around people. You want to build things.

But after ovulation → estrogen is meant to be cleared. Packaged up and escorted out. And your body has a whole system to do it 👀

Liver → bile → gut → bowels. That’s the exit route.

If any of those are backed up: constipation, under-fuelling, stress, poor sleep, not enough food → estrogen doesn’t leave fully.

☐ Bloating
☐ Breast tenderness.
☐ Mood shifts.
☐ Cramps.
☐ The “why am I like this this week” spiral.

This is a clearance problem. Not a personal flaw.

Before you add another detox ritual, check the actual exits:

1️⃣ P**p daily. Fibre, water, minerals, movement, enough food.

2️⃣ Protein at breakfast. Supports your liver and steadies your blood sugar.

3️⃣ Lower the stress load. Walks, earlier bedtime, less phone before sleep, fewer stimulants.

Lemon water is good. But estrogen detox is not a drink. It’s a body process 🍋

When your body has what it needs to clear estrogen: your luteal phase can actually feel like you again.

Your 20s routine did not stop working because you became lazy.

I’m in my 30s now, and I’ve noticed something.

Getting back into a routine used to feel easier → Now it takes longer & feels heavier.

But there is a hormonal reason your old routine does not land the same anymore.

1. 🩸 Ovulation can become less consistent
You might still bleed every month, but that does not mean ovulation is strong. Less ovulation can mean less progesterone.

“I’m still getting my period, so why do I feel so off?”

2. 🌙 Progesterone can drop first
This can affect sleep, calm, PMS, anxiety, and that wired-but-tired feeling.

“I’m exhausted, but I can’t switch off.”

3.🔥 Estrogen can become unpredictable
It can spike, dip, and shift, affecting mood, energy, confidence, cravings, and how much you feel like yourself.

“I don’t know who I’ll be this week.”

3. ⚡ Stress has a bigger cost
The same pace you used to push through can start depleting you.

“I should be able to handle this.”

4. 🍉 Blood sugar matters more
Coffee before food, skipped meals, or under-eating can hit harder now.

“I’m fine all morning, then I crash and need sugar or coffee.”

5. 😴 Recovery takes longer
Your body may need real recovery, not just collapsing and scrolling.

“Why do I need two days to recover from one dinner?”

→ Your ambition is not the problem.
→ Your foundation is.

Save this if your old routine does not work like it used to 💌

You do not need more motivation.

You need a routine that understands your body changes. ✨🔥

1. Sleep.
2. Blood sugar.
3. Stress.
4. Cycle phase.
5. Energy.
6. Capacity.

They all shift.

So of course one fixed plan eventually breaks.

Your ambition is not the problem.
Your foundation is.

Your hormones aren’t flat or linear, so your energy won’t be either.

Some weeks you’re sharp and social.
Other weeks you’re slower and more inward.

That’s not inconsistency. That’s your cycle being cyclical

Save this for the week you’re hard on yourself. ✨
