I spend most of my days holding space for other people. This weekend I’m doing something entirely for myself. First 10K, Medellín Marathon expo, bib collected and it’s real.

Two days!
Two days I’ll accomplish a goal I put on my vision board.
Two days I will run with confidence at a new weight and new mindset.

Two days I will run with someone who worked just as hard to cross the finish line.

Now I rest and let the work show it self🏃🏾‍♀️

🇺🇸Didn’t want to run today. My cleaner washed my sneakers and they were still soaked, so I laced up soggy and went anyway. 4 days out from my first 10K at the Medellín Marathon and I have no idea what race day will look like. Rain, sun, whatever. Now I know I can run through it.

Mom first; always. But also: late 30s, still funny, still athletic, still spontaneous, still loving hard. My kids don’t just get a mother. They get her too.
