Burnout finally caught up with me.
After years of ignoring what my body was telling me, pushing through exhaustion, running on fumes, and constantly asking myself “okay but like... how much longer can I actually do this?” …my whole system literally forced me to stop bc I didn’t know how…
My executive functioning basically ghosted me and went into Safe Mode. Brain fog everywhere. Total overwhelm. That special conservation mode where your body’s just like “nope, we’re resting now whether you know how to or not.” Turns out I ignored the warning lights so many times that my system had to shut things down to protect me.
Life can be absolutely magical, but yeah… I’m apparently still just a human being. 😂
