I have been waiting to bring this to my community.

Like really waiting. The kind of waiting that feels like something building — because you know what you're about to offer is going to land differently than anything you've done before.

Sound healing changed my life. That is not an exaggeration.
It gave me a way back to myself that nothing else could touch.

Not the yoga. Not the meditation. Not the years of studying the nervous system inside and out. Those things were all part of it — but sound was the thing that made it click in my body in a way I couldn't unfeel.

It became the foundation of everything. How I teach. How I regulate. How I show up. How I come home to myself on the hard days.

And I have been wanting to give that experience to the people right here — my local community — first.

Not a workshop. Not a lecture. A full two-day immersion where you actually feel what this work does. Where the science stops living in your head and starts living in your body.

Where you walk out different.
This is that.

And there are only 2 early bird tickets left.

Hi, I'm Megan.

Owner and Lead Teacher Trainer at The Embodied Warrior School of Sound — and the person who will absolutely misspell something on the dry erase board within the first twenty minutes and keep going like thats just how it's spelled now.

Here's a little bit about me:
15+ years as a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. 24+ years training as a classical ballet dancer. Owner & lead teacher trainer at the TEW 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training school. Sound Healing Educator and creator of the TEW 50-Hour Sound Practitioner Training.

I am a born teacher, my mom was an educator for 40 years and I swore I would never be a teacher, but here I am. My lectures come with inside jokes, inexplicable Finding Nemo references, at least one, or five, Forgetting Sarah Marshall quote, and science explained with the occasional curse word because that's just how it comes out sometimes. I keep it real in the classroom because real is what actually teaches people things, and keeps them from drifting off during my all-time fav. science lectures.

And honestly? There is nothing NOTHING that lights me up more than standing in front of a room and sharing information that can literally change someone's life.
Teaching is not what I do. It's what I am. I love my trainings with my whole heart, and when you become my student, you become family. That's not a marketing line. Ask anyone who's been in the room.

I'm also a world traveler and a brand new mom to Isabella [BELLA] who is ten months old, has already taken four international trips before her six-month birthday, and shares a birthday with my dad.

He's been gone for a while now. And she arrived on his day like a message I didn't know I needed. She's the gift he sent me from above. I am sure of very few things, and I am sure of that.

I'm really glad you're here. Feel free to look around, ask questions, send me a DM, or just say hi. There are no strangers in this community. Only people I haven't met yet.

Most people come to sound healing training knowing they want to work with sound.

What almost no one tells them: learning to play the instruments is the easy part.

The real work is in the practitioner's own nervous system. Their relationship with silence. Their capacity to stay regulated when the room gets emotionally big — to hold what arises without interrupting it, without managing it, without making it about them.

That's what creates a session people remember. Not the bowl collection. The quality of presence behind it.

Mallory came to my October training as a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly twenty years of clinical experience. She knew what real training looks like — and she knew the difference between a certification and an education.

"My training with Megan was extensive, informative, and highly crafted. With Megan you can trust that what you are receiving is of high quality and know that the safety of all is being ensured. The sense of connection and love was unmatched to anything I have previously attended in such an intimate setting. All are honored. All are loved."

That's what I build in October. Come find out what it means to really hold a room.

What motherhood has taught me about being a practitioner.

I'll be honest with you.

Right now I am stretched thin, running on broken sleep, and some days I can barely locate my own nervous system let alone tend to it. The version of myself I've spent the better part of a decade building — aware, regulated, intentional — doesn't always show up on time anymore.

And here's what I know that I didn't know before:

That's not failure. That's the work showing me exactly where it still needs to go.

Motherhood has been the most humbling and clarifying mirror I've ever stood in front of. It's shown me the places I still brace. The habits that only hold under good conditions. The gap between what I teach and what I'm actually embodying on three hours of sleep and a full day ahead of me.

And because I have this practice — because I know what I know — I have the awareness to see it. To name it. To know that this is not where I stay.

That awareness is everything. It's the difference between being swept away and knowing you're in the water.

This is also why I made one of the hardest business decisions of my career.

I consolidated the June and October sound trainings into one.

The integrity of this work is sacred to me. A true leader knows their strengths and their limits. And showing up for a room full of women who deserve my best — while not being able to offer it — wasn't something I was willing to do.

So I chose the pause. I chose October. I chose integrity over momentum.

Here's what this season has confirmed for me, in the most visceral possible way:

This work holds you, even when you can't fully hold it yourself.

The tools are there. The foundation is there. And slowly, steadily — even in the hardest season — you find your way back. Not because everything is calm. Because you know the way home.

That's regulation. That's what this practice builds.

And that's what I want to give every practitioner who comes through my training — not just the technique, but the foundation that holds you in the seasons when nothing else does.

October is the last training at Synergy in Costa Rica.
7 spots remaining.

If this is resonating — if you've felt the pull toward this work and you're ready to build something that will hold you in every season — comment SOUND to claim, or reply here. I'd love to talk.

3 early bird tickets left.

So let's talk about where you are right now.

You're tired in a way sleep doesn't fully fix. You know about regulation but you can't always find it when you actually need it.

You move through your days managing, coping, holding it together — and somewhere in the back of your mind you keep thinking there has to be another way to do this.

There is.

This is what the other side of this weekend looks like:
You know why your nervous system does what it does. The mystery is gone. The science lives in your body now — not just your head.

You have tools that are actually yours. Not borrowed. Not theoretical. Felt, integrated, and ready to use at 3am or in the middle of the conversation that usually takes you out.

You leave a little more like yourself than when you walked in.
That's not a promise. That's what happens when you stop learning about the work and start experiencing it.

Guided journal prompts. Group discussion. A full embodied sound experience. Integration of your shift before you walk out the door.

Two days. Small group. Intimate space.

She was crawling on the beach in Nicaragua during our 6-week trip just two months ago.

She’s walking now.

9.5 months old. Two months later. Just like that.
I keep thinking about how that happens — how growth doesn’t announce itself, doesn’t follow a timeline, doesn’t ask permission. It just moves when it’s ready.

Becoming a mom wasn’t always part of the dream. Honestly, it found me at the end of my thirties — after the soul searching, after building the business, after finally figuring out who I was and what I stood for.

And now I’m in the middle of the most beautiful, most disorienting rearranging of my entire life.

Some days I’m oscillating between who I was before her, who I am right now, and who I’m still becoming — sometimes all before 9am.

The business I spent a decade building. The version of myself I worked so hard to find. The sacrifice that doesn’t have a clean name yet.

All of it shifting. All of it asking something of me I didn’t know I had.

And underneath all of it, this quiet knowing —
if it’s meant for me, it won’t miss me.

It might come early. It might come late. But it won’t miss you.

So this is for the wellness professionals, the yoga teachers, the sound healers, the moms doing the inner work while raising the next generation of conscious humans and still chasing something that lives in their chest and won’t let go —

Wherever you are in your journey,

You’re not behind.

You’re not late.

Trust the timing. Trust the pull.

It won’t miss you.

It's not the bowls. It's not the certificate. It's not even the hours you've logged.

The thing that makes a practitioner genuinely skilled — the thing that makes people drive hours to be in their room — is a quality of presence that can't be bought or faked.

It's regulation. Awareness. The capacity to hold silence without filling it. To stay grounded when the room gets emotionally big. To be fully there without needing to perform being there.

These are trainable. But they require a different kind of training than most programs offer.

Save this if it names something you've been reaching for.

Seven spots left for October. And I want to take a minute to actually paint the picture — because this isn't just a training. It's a week that changes something.

You arrive in Uvita, Costa Rica — jungle, ocean, the kind of air that already feels different. You're at Synergy Retreat Center, which is exactly what luxury in the middle of nature should feel like. And for seven days, you're completely away from the noise of your regular life.

During the day we go deep — the nervous system science behind sound healing, the physics of how vibration actually moves through the body, the ethics and scope of practice, the business of building something sustainable, and the inner development work that most trainings skip entirely. The part that turns technique into presence. The part that makes you the kind of practitioner people drive hours to see.

In the evenings: meals together, integration, the particular kind of conversation that only happens in a small group of women who came somewhere to go somewhere in themselves.

By the last day, the room sounds different. Not because the instruments changed. Because the people playing them did.

This training is for you if you're a yoga teacher, massage therapist, breathwork facilitator, or somatic practitioner who has felt the ceiling in your current work — who knows there's a layer you haven't accessed yet and that sound is calling you there.

It's for you if you want training you can stand behind. That gives you the science, the confidence, and the inner preparation to walk into any room and know exactly what you're doing and why.

It's for you if you've been circling this long enough to know the pull isn't going away.

What it's not: a weekend workshop, a quick certification, or a training that teaches you to play bowls without teaching you how to hold a room.

Here's what Mallory, a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly twenty years of clinical experience, said after completing the training:

"My training with Megan was extensive, informative, and highly crafted. When I am in search of training beyond my scope of practice, it is vital for me to have someone who is highly knowledgeable and works within an ethical and loving framework. With Megan you can trust that what you are receiving is of high quality. The sense of connection and love was unmatched to anything I have previously attended in such an intimate setting. All are honored. All are loved."

You don't have to look spiritual to do this work.

Let me paint you a picture of what my last training in Costa Rica looked like.

3.5 months postpartum. Nursing bra. Hair tied back so she couldn't pull it out mid-session. Shirts soaked with milk by 10am. Waltzing through the jungle — per usual — except this time with a baby strapped to my chest and a to-go bottle of breastmilk I'd spent my breaks pumping.

That was my uniform for seven days of teaching 50 hours of sound healing content to a room full of practitioners who walked away more confident, more aligned, and more prepared than most trainings produce.

Not despite how I looked. Completely independent of it.

The sound healing aesthetic has gotten so specific that talented people are quietly self-selecting out of this work because they don't own flowy linen.

I've watched it happen. Gifted practitioners — people with real skill, real science, real capacity to hold a room — who wonder if they look credible enough. If their setup is aesthetic enough. If they fit the mold.

They do. And also — the mold is wrong.

What builds client trust isn't your altar or your wardrobe or the particular way your Instagram looks. It's safety. It's skill. It's the felt sense of being with someone who knows what they're doing and is genuinely present.

Those things come from training and inner work. Not from what you look like.

Your signature frequency — the specific quality of presence that's uniquely yours — is the most powerful thing you bring into a room. No aesthetic trend can give it to you or take it away.

The clients who need exactly what you have to offer aren't looking for a sound healer archetype. They're looking for you.

What happens when you show up fully as yourself:

✶ "If you're seeking a training that offers genuine connection, evidence-based teaching, hands-on practice, and a supportive learning environment — I highly recommend the 50-hour Sound Healing Practitioner Training and Retreat with Megan. I truly walked away more confident, more aligned, and inspired to bring this work into the world."
— Sam

✶ "With Megan you can trust that what you are receiving is of high quality and know that the safety of all is being ensured. The sense of connection and love was unmatched to anything I have previously attended in such an intimate setting. All are honored. All are loved."

This what October looks like.

Seven days at Synergy Retreat Center in Uvita, Costa Rica. Luxury accommodations, incredible food, jungle and ocean within reach.

Days spent in the work — nervous system science, sound physics, ethics, business, hands-on practice, and the inner development that makes everything else land. The kind of training where you stop just playing sound and start actually understanding it.

Evenings spent in conversation — the kind that only happens when a small group of women are away from their real lives and actually present with each other.

By the last day, something shifts. It happens every time. The room sounds different — not because the instruments changed, but because the people playing them did.

This is a working retreat. You will be stretched, you will go somewhere, and you will leave with 50 hours of certification and a version of yourself as a practitioner you couldn’t have accessed any other way.

8 rooms remaining.
Multiple conversations happening daily.
If this is yours — you already know.
