A Journey Back to Myself – My Experience with a Psilocybin Ceremony in Costa Rica
My psilocybin ceremony with Vivien and Nina in Costa Rica was one of the most profound and transformative experiences of my life.
Over the years, I have explored many different paths of personal growth—therapy, meditation, coaching, and various spiritual practices. Yet nothing has taken me to the depth that this experience did. It allowed me to access parts of my subconscious that had always been there but had remained beyond my awareness.
What impressed me from the very beginning was the thoughtful preparation. Weeks before I arrived in Costa Rica, Vivian and Nina guided me through several online sessions where we explored my intentions, practiced meaningful rituals, and reflected on deeply rooted themes such as trust, childhood conditioning, family patterns, and the beliefs that unconsciously shape so much of our lives. The journey had already begun long before the ceremony itself.
Costa Rica added its own unique magic to the experience. The lush jungle, the warm tropical climate, the constant sounds of nature, and the feeling of being completely immersed in the natural world created the perfect environment to open my heart and reconnect with myself. I felt deeply grounded, present, and alive.
Throughout the ceremony, I felt completely safe, supported, and lovingly held. Vivian and Nina created a space of trust and compassion that allowed me to surrender to the process. They seemed to know intuitively when to offer guidance and when to simply allow the experience to unfold. Their calm presence helped me navigate moments of great depth with confidence.
What makes their work truly exceptional is that the support does not end when the ceremony is over. The integration process afterward is just as important. Through follow-up conversations, journaling, and reflecting on my dreams and insights, I gradually began to understand what had emerged during the experience. Writing page after page helped me recognize old patterns and gain a deeper understanding of myself.
For me, this was not a single life-changing event but the beginning of an ongoing journey. It opened a door to greater self-awareness, authenticity, and a deeper connection with who I truly am. The real transformation happens through the integration that follows, as these insights slowly become part of everyday life.
