My mom called to ask about our Azores retreat. On the plane I was looking at pictures and our smiles summed it up! Then I gave her the play by play about how everything flowed perfectly!
Not that there weren’t “issues” to smooth out cuz that’s life. Our initial flight to Boston was cancelled. Shannon (Maria’s hubby) got us on a flight to Lisbon & backtrack to Azores - and Maria & Shannon raced us down to Dulles that night so I could arrive, settle & prepare a few days before the group arrived.
There were a few other “issues” but for the group their experience was nearly flawless!
We’re still beaming and Scott said last night, “you got your groove back” and YES! I did & for that we are truly blessed.
What’s next? We were about to put a deposit on Tuscany March 2020…then the world got wonky. Maybe there!
