In June of 1966, the Queen of Rock joined forces with Big Brother and the Holding Company and performed at the Avalon in San Francisco. This performance is where she could feel the unforgettable energy of the crowd and “by the end she was wild.” Janis had incredible energy on stage, from her vocals to her dance moves. 💃
