We are living during a time of mass disconnection.
We have traded connection to land, ancestry, ritual and role for modern luxuries and safeties. But some part of us has been lost along the way.

I am offering a way back. A way back to connecting with who you truly are through a journey called Initiation of the Wild Soul.

Initiation of the Wild Soul is a six-month embodied journey for intrepid seekers to connect with the deepest truths of their soul. The course has an intentional structure through which to explore, referred to as the Five-Body Focus: erotic, emotional, primal, ancestral and spiritual. Through a combination of group and one-on-one spaces, each seeker will be fully held on their journey to plunge their unknown depths and connect with inner truth.

This group container is application only. Early-bird pricing through October 11. Offering this work in group allows me to discount the price by 66% to make this work as accessible as possible. If you feel called and price is an obstacle, please still apply and we'll figure it out.

I'm traveling this fall to Chicago to offer both Muck & Mire and a Group Constellation Circle at the beckoning of my soul friend Christina Marie Sprayberry.

To my hosts Eco Collective Chicago, I could not imagine a more perfect place to share these offerings. The energy and intention you've infused into this space have made it such an easy yes.

To the Chicagoans considering attending this offering, I cannot wait to connect with you. Chicago holds a very dear place in my heart. Chicago is where my parents met and fell in love, in many ways where my story began. To return in this way is very special for me.

What is Muck & Mire?

Muck & Mire is an emotional release workshop to alchemize rage and grief into power. The practice is taught and modeled before the communal ritual, during which we practice together.

Who is this practice for?

This is for humans! Humans who feel disconnected from their emotions or overwhelmed by too many emotions. It's for people who know something is stuck deep down. It's for people who feel they are barely making it through the day without snapping. It's for people who feel weighed down, frustrated, or pent up. Most importantly, it's for humans who wish to experience the magic of embodied feeling.

Why is Muck & Mire free and online tonight?

Muck & Mire is normally an in-person event in the Hudson Valley but not enough people signed up to cover venue costs AND I got the message that this practice is still so universally needed. So I'm just doing it. Sometimes that's how it goes. I offered this online for years so I know how to do it. And yes, it is a little different than in-person but I'm hoping this offerings allows people to come forward who have felt inhibited from joining in-person for whatever reason.

It is with such a full heart that I extend an invitation to this month's Muck & Mire.

The fullness I feel is from holding unbearable pain alongside expansive pleasure.

Since last month’s event, I have been experiencing the most nourishing solo hibernation time simultaneous to a real deepening of my role in my community.

To all those who have opened their hearts to me and shared what they are struggling with, I thank you. It has allowed me to show up in greater service and meet your immediate needs.

Topics that have been swirling around me:
-how to hold and process the grief/ hopelessness of world events
-how to make space for slowing down in the midst of productivity culture
-how to grieve, especially how to grieve unpredicted and untimely death
-how to release the pain of the past, how to step into seeing ourselves and our actions more clearly
-how to understand worsening health symptoms–chronic pain, inflammation of skin, digestion.

And the best part is the way all of these seemingly disparate insanely complicated issues, can be held and processed through our bodies.

Regarding last month’s Muck & Mire, I need to share that it was such a dream come true. Twenty people came together to hold themselves through their frustration, bitterness, resentment, shame, sadness, and despair. And every single person had an experience that was authentic to what they needed.

Some of the feedback I received:
“That was the first time I ever allowed myself to physically express rage.”
“I slept so deeply afterwards, with easeful dreams.”
“I was surprised at how easy it was to access my grief through the encouragement of the community space.”

So yes, I’m offering this again. My prayer is to continue holding this space each month.

Transform your rage and grief into power.

Beginning this month, I will be facilitating a monthly emotional release event at this incredible space in Kingston.

Each month, I will teach and model the practice. I will teach the somatic movements and poses for rage and grief. I will teach a movement practice for integrating the experience into the body after the intensity of moving rage and grief through.

I have wanted to do this for soooooooo long. The practice I will be teaching is one of the single most powerful tools I have learned. It combines practices I was taught at the School of Womanly Arts with Somatic Experiencing and Somatic Movement. I have been teaching this one-on-one and in small groups for year, remotely but this is my first offering at this magnitude and I just can't wait.

It’s a dream to collaborate with .holistic.healing’s team of intentional, compassionate, highly-skilled therapists who will be in attendance to hold space and support for those who need.

So so grateful to and the whole team for taking a chance on something new.
