Candida overgrowth can be tricky to solve.
It took me about 4 years to fully fix mine.
That’s because it’s usually not as simple as taking antifungals and killing it off.
Candida tends to overgrow and shift into its more aggressive hyphal form when the terrain is favoring it.
And that terrain is rarely one thing.
It’s often a combination of co-infections like SIBO and parasites, alongside a leaky gut, low beneficial bacteria, poor blood sugar regulation, sluggish bile flow, and weak mitochondrial function.
Each of those quietly weakens the systems that are supposed to keep candida in check.
To fully resolve it, you have to address all of them, not just the candida itself.
This is where comprehensive bloodwork earns its place.
It paints a detailed picture of what’s actually going on, so you can target the weakened systems, rebuild the foundations, and then clear the overgrowth.
That’s how you heal the gut. In that order.
