🎉 WE DID IT — AND THEN SOME! 🎉

Our Adaptable Adventure Challenge has officially come to a close, and we are incredibly excited to share the final results!

Our goal: $15,000
Total raised: $17,468! 🙌

We are absolutely blown away by the support.

A huge congratulations to everyone who took on the challenge, raised funds, shared their pages and helped spread the word. We’ve included our final challenger leaderboard so we can recognize the incredible efforts of everyone who helped make this campaign such a success.

🏆 A very special congratulations to Team Jason, our top fundraiser! Their incredible effort and support throughout the challenge played a huge part in helping us smash our goal.

To every challenger, donor, supporter and person who shared our campaign — THANK YOU!

Every dollar raised helps us continue creating meaningful and accessible outdoor recreation opportunities for people with disabilities, providing the specialized equipment, trained staff and support needed to make adventure possible.

As a small rural charity, raising $17,468 means an incredible amount to us.

A huge thank you to the Lethbridge Corn Maze for choosing Adaptable Outdoors as the recipient of their Thanksgiving Day fundraiser! 🌽🦃💚

All admission proceeds on Thanksgiving Day will support our work creating inclusive outdoor recreation opportunities for people living with disabilities across Southern Alberta.

If you’re looking for a fun way to spend part of your Thanksgiving, head out to the Corn Maze, enjoy a great fall day, and support accessible outdoor adventures at the same time.

Our 🦃Thanksgiving Day🦃 fundraiser is coming up!!! This year all the proceeds of the Cornmaze admission on Thanksgiving Day will go to supporting Adaptable Outdoors.

For many of the people who join Adaptable Outdoors, getting outside isn’t as simple as just showing up.

Taking part in activities like fishing, paddling and hiking can require adaptive equipment, trained staff, additional support, careful planning and the right setup for each person.

That is what the Adaptable Adventure Challenge helps support.
Today is the final day to donate, and we are very close to reaching our $15,000 goal.

Every donation helps us continue creating real opportunities for people with disabilities to take part in outdoor experiences across Southern Alberta.

We’re only $779 away from our $15,000 goal.

The 2026 Adaptable Adventure Challenge closes October 1, and so far you’ve helped us raise $14,221.

For a small rural Alberta charity, that level of support means a lot.

The money raised through this Challenge helps us keep adaptive hiking, paddling, fishing and outdoor programs affordable and accessible for people with disabilities across Southern Alberta.

We believe the outdoor experiences Alberta is known for should be accessible to people of all abilities, and your support helps us make that possible.

We’re now close enough that a relatively small number of donations could get us all the way there.

ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT SERIES - part 5: Joëlette

Just like TrailRider, the Joëlette helps to make trails and outdoor adventures accessible to people who may not be able to experience them independently.
With the support of a team, its double-wheel design makes it possible to navigate a variety of terrain while keeping teamwork, communication and safety at the heart of every adventure.
At Adaptable Outdoors, having different types of adaptive equipment allows us to find the right solution for each participant and their needs. 👨‍🦼‍➡️
Because everyone deserves the opportunity to explore the outdoors. ❤️
