Good Evening from Prague.

Every decision I have ever made, good or bad, was still a choice.
And somewhere in that is the most liberating and terrifying truth I know.
Because if everything is a choice, then so is staying stuck. So is putting yourself last. So is waiting for the right moment.

We are so good at showing up for everyone else that showing up for ourselves feels wrong. Unfamiliar.
Like we are taking something we have not earned.

But here is what I do know.
Your brain has been practising taking care of others for years. Of course taking care of yourself feels strange. It needs more practice.
You do not have to overhaul everything at once.
Get to the edge of your comfort zone and take one step forward. One small thing for you. Then build from there.

You do not have to get it right. You have to keep going.

It’s late. June has just begun.

And I find myself sitting with this question tonight: which chapter are you in right now?
I’ve had a few. Nearly two decades in corporate, developing other people, while quietly losing sight of myself. Baking at the same time for years, because it was the one thing that was fully mine.
Then, choosing it completely for five years, before choosing to guide people back to themselves, underneath all the roles they carry.

Every chapter was necessary. I know that now. Even the ones that felt like I was moving sideways.

Your brain actually needs the whole story. Not just the polished version.
The integration of every version of you is where the real strength lives.

You know that feeling when you're running on empty?

Our recent trip to Amsterdam and Utrecht wasn't just about beautiful canals and cobblestone streets (though those didn't hurt 😏).

It was a reminder that self-care isn't selfish—it’s essential.

Walking those streets, smelling fresh stroopwafels (and maybe a hint of something else Amsterdam is famous for 😉),
hearing the constant symphony of bicycle bells...

I was reminded of something important:
We spend so much time giving to everyone else that we forget to refill our own cup.

Today, I'm deeply grateful for:
✨ The permission I gave myself to pause
✨ The reminder that rest isn't lazy—it's necessary
✨ Moments that make me feel alive again

I made it even better: 90 seconds ⚡

Same energy restoration, less than half the time.

Why the change?
When your battery is at 30%, you need something FAST.
Not "when you have time for self-care" fast.
Actually fast.

This is it. Your 90-second Energy Restore.

⚡ THE POWER BREATH RESET ⚡

*STEP 1: STOP* (5 seconds)
Pause whatever you're doing. Right now. Wherever you are.

*STEP 2: RELEASE* (10 seconds)
•⁠ ⁠Take a HUGE breath IN through your nose
•⁠ ⁠Hold it for 2 seconds
•⁠ ⁠BLOW IT OUT through your mouth - make noise! (Haaaaah)
•⁠ ⁠Let your shoulders DROP
•⁠ ⁠Shake out your hands

*STEP 3: RECHARGE* (~60 seconds)
Do this breathing pattern 4 times in a row:

CYCLE 1:
→ INHALE through your nose slowly - count: 1, 2, 3, 4
(Let your BELLY expand, not your chest)
→ HOLD your breath gently - count: 1, 2, 3, 4
(Don't strain, just pause naturally)
→ EXHALE through your mouth slowly - count: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
(Like slowly blowing out birthday candles)

CYCLES 2, 3, 4:
→ Repeat the exact same pattern 3 more times
→ IN for 4, HOLD for 4, OUT for 6
→ Keep it slow and steady

*✨ BONUS WHILE BREATHING:*
•⁠ ⁠When you INHALE → Imagine golden light filling your body (energy, warmth, life)
•⁠ ⁠When you EXHALE → Imagine grey smoke leaving your body (stress, tension, tiredness)

Your brain responds to this imagery like it's real ✨

*👌 THE ANCHOR*
(5 seconds - Optional but powerful!)
After your 4th breath cycle, while you're feeling energized:
•⁠ ⁠Press your THUMB and MIDDLE FINGER tips together
•⁠ ⁠Hold for 3 seconds
•⁠ ⁠Release

This creates a shortcut:
Later when you need energy, press those fingers together and your body remembers this recharged state!
(It's called NLP anchoring - your nervous system learns the pattern) 🧠

⏱️ *Total time: ~90 seconds*
🔋 *Result: 30% battery → 70% battery*

*Why it works:*
Your nervous system CANNOT be stressed and deeply breathing at the same time.
It's physiologically impossible.
This technique flips your switch from "stress mode" (sympathetic) to "restore mode" (parasympathetic) in 90 seconds.

It's not relaxation. It's RESTORATION. There's a difference.

Your energy isn't missing - it's just blocked by stress patterns. This unblocks it.
