Today sees the launch of the Scar Therapy Network!
A brand new portal for members of the public and healthcare professionals alike.

And I am delighted to be on the board of clinical experts for the project.

"The Scar Therapy Network is a new platform dedicated to improving the understanding, treatment, and recovery of scars. It will bring together trusted information for people with scars and a connected community of professionals committed to raising the standard of scar care."

Aimed at people in the UK it is hoped this project will find its way in the National Health Service where the public can find information about their scars - or indeed what to expect both prior and subsequent to their surgery.

Thank you to UK physiotherapist Hannah Poulton, whose brainchild was born today. I am honored to be part of such a prestigious project!
