Carrying stress can feel heavy not just mentally but emotionally and physically.
The body holds patterns. From hunching our shoulders to clenching our jaw. Sometimes we aren’t even aware we are doing it.
In our Ocean Moon Yoga classes we use breath-work techniques and yoga poses to help regulate our nervous system.
Our breath can help us to steady what feels unsettled and movement can help to shift what has been stuck.
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, our yin yoga classes are a meditative practice and as we stretch our fascia, where a lot of tension can be held, we start to find clarity in our minds.
After class you can walk away feeling lighter, clearer and more relaxed.
Following a consistent practice over time you’ll start to feel calmer and more at ease not just during and after a class but during the day as well, you will start to feel more able to handle any stressful situations that may come your way.
Why not reset and start your practice with us this week, our next class is Thursday 21st May at 18.30 in Bad Soden.
