Went with a friend to see Dr. Appel, a German orthopaedist. What a view from the exam room! Exam room itself was pretty slick. Lots of space. Then Dr Appel shared some things done differently in Germany compared to the US. He also showed me work he did on the structure of the ACL. The fibers criss cross. No grafts can reproduce that structure.

Hot chocolate after a long day in the MIT mug from the competition. I played all my roles today!
7:15-8:45. Yoga teacher—taught ashtanga led primary 9:15-11:15. Surgeon—did shoulder arthroscopy for infected shoulder. 11:45-12:30. Mom—hung out with one daughter who came to dance competition. 12:30-5:15. Ballroom dance—judged at the MIT Open Ballroom Championships
6-7. Feldenkrais—taught Awareness through Movement class at Down Under Yoga. 7:15-8 Mom—talked to second daughter on phone while cutting vegetables for tzimmes. 8-9. Wife—helped husband plan Passover dinner
