If you look closely at the image, you’ll notice straight away: the three Kranhäuser in Cologne’s Rheinauhafen and the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore have more in common than you might think at first glance. Whilst the three Kranhäuser in Cologne stand side by side as separate buildings, the Marina Bay Sands connects its three towers via a shared rooftop terrace to form a single iconic structure.

That’s why we’re particularly delighted to be able to support SG Neuhaus/Aufseß with the purchase of new away hoodies for the first and second teams. When business partners become friends, the day sometimes starts a little differently than usual. 😄

Yesterday morning, our sales manager, Jörg Langheinrich, welcomed our sales partner, Maxence Brouard, from Med33 in France in a very special way – with a breakfast that was rather out of the ordinary for him at the legendary in .

But what exactly is the Wärschtlamo? 🌭
Hof is a town in Upper Franconia, a historic region in northern Bavaria – and the Wärschtlamo has been an integral part of the town’s landscape here for over 150 years. The term comes from the Franconian dialect and simply means ‘sausage man’. Every day, five ‘sausage men’ are spread across Hof’s pedestrian zone, selling fresh ‘Wärscht’ (sausages) in all weathers straight from steaming brass cauldrons – which, incidentally, have been heated with glowing coals since 1871 and are still individually crafted for each Wärschtlamo. Whether ‘Wienerla’, ‘Gnagger’, ‘Bauern’ or ‘Weisa’ – served in a fresh ‘Laabla’ (bread roll), with or without ‘Sempft’ (mustard). And of course, the Wärschtlamo always has time for a little natter – in Franconian: ‘Waafn’. 😊

We’re convinced that anyone who tries Hofer sausages for breakfast will understand why we’re so passionate – about tradition, quality and what we do.
