🌴 𝗠𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗶, 𝟲 𝗮𝗺 – 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁.

The sun is just rising over the Atlantic, the first joggers are doing their laps on Ocean Drive, and in Little Havana, the first cafecito of the day is steaming. Actually, this would be the perfect moment to really enjoy Miami – a morning on the turquoise-blue South Beach, a boat trip through the canals of Key Biscayne, or simply strolling past the iconic Art Deco façades of Miami Beach whilst the city slowly wakes up.

But hang on. We’re not here for fun. 😄

Today is the final day of WHX Miami 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Centre – and in a few hours’ time, our team will be back at Stand G54 to convince surgeons, hospital decision-makers and potential distribution partners from North and Latin America of the benefits of our titanised hernia meshes, TiO₂Mesh.

Miami can wait. The meetings at the stand can’t. 💼

🇵🇹 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 – 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗲!

From 3 to 5 June, we attended the 48th EHS Congress at the historic Alfândega do Porto – a former customs house right on the banks of the Douro, through which railway tracks once ran so that goods could be cleared directly by train. Today, these tracks run through the hall floor as a silent curiosity – and our topics relating to hernia surgery, surgical meshes and haemostasis ran just as much as a common thread through three intensive days of the congress.

At our stand, we had many fascinating conversations – with surgeons, researchers and partners from all over the world who face the challenges of modern hernia care on a daily basis. That is exactly why we are here.

From 18 to 19 June 2026, the Dortmund Congress Centre will become the central hub for gastroenterology and visceral surgery in North Rhine-Westphalia. Under the motto “Interactive. Innovative. Interdisciplinary.” – and BioCer will be there with its own stand.

ESGE Days 2026 is now history – and we look back on our trade fair appearance with a sense of satisfaction.

A particular highlight was the Nurses Hotspot, where we were able to demonstrate the use of the HaemoCer Endoscopic Applicator live – with the active support of Susanne Raschke, Senior Specialist Nurse for Endoscopy at the KKiMK in Menden. Susanne not only demonstrated the application but also shared insights directly from her daily clinical practice – and that’s exactly what took the conversations at the stand to a whole new level.
