Where the Douro meets the Atlantic, the international hernia surgery community will gather in June: from 3 to 5 June 2026, we will be attending the 48th Annual Congress of the European Hernia Society at the historic Alfândega do Porto Congress Centre.

Under the motto “Bridging the Future of Hernia Repair”, we will be presenting our solutions for modern hernia care – surgical meshes, plant-based haemostasis and coating technologies. Made in Germany. Proven in the operating theatre.

🇮🇹 𝗘𝗦𝗚𝗘 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻 – 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁!

ESGE Days 2026 is now history – and we look back on our trade fair appearance with a sense of satisfaction.

A particular highlight was the Nurses Hotspot, where we were able to demonstrate the use of the HaemoCer Endoscopic Applicator live – with the active support of Susanne Raschke, Senior Specialist Nurse for Endoscopy at the KKiMK in Menden. Susanne not only demonstrated the application but also shared insights directly from her daily clinical practice – and that’s exactly what took the conversations at the stand to a whole new level.

Ascension Day, a long weekend. Many of our colleagues have taken Friday off and are probably out cycling somewhere or getting the barbecue going right now.

Us? We’re in Ulm.

We’ve been at the 97th Annual Meeting of the DGHNO-KHC since Wednesday – and will be here until Saturday. At Stand #104, we’re showcasing what BioCer has to offer in the field of ENT and head and neck surgery: face-to-face discussions with surgeons, distributors and fellow specialists from across the German-speaking ENT community.

The congress runs until Saturday, 17 May – so if you’re in Ulm and haven’t popped by yet: the Danube isn’t going anywhere, but our stand might just disappear. 😄

It’s exactly the right setting for what we’re showcasing today.
