Nobody builds capacity by jumping into your panic zone.
Most of the women I work with have already tried that version.
Quitting your job without a backup plan, the vulnerability hangover after overhearing something deeply personal online, the big launch that ended in crickets and chaos.
And then the conclusion that this just isn’t for us. Wanting to throw the towel.
Often followed by a big crash, shrinking and hiding for weeks afterwards.
I love big moves. But they have to be backed up by our nervous system (and best also by your bank account).
Your system isn’t refusing to grow. It’s refusing a dose it can’t metabolise.
That’s why small steps make such a huge difference in the long run.
You go close enough to the edge that something in you rises, far enough from it that you can still feel your feet
🪶 you send the voice note you’ve rewritten four times
🪶 you say your price and stay in the room while it goes quiet
🪶 you let the compliment land without deflecting it
🪶 you publish without it having to be perfect and stay with what happens in your body for the next hour
That is where the capacity actually gets built.
And we come back the next day, and the cliff has lost a few metres, because your body has more room in it now for what it once had to avoid.
What’s the thing that sits slightly out of your range this week?
And if you want to start building that range, comment CAPACITY and I’ll send you my Emotional Capacity Practice ❤️🔥
