Nina Kim is a Reiki Master Teacher, 500+ hour Certified Massage Therapist, Mindfulness Teacher and Founder of Psychedelic Reiki Massage & the Visionary School of Reiki who began her healing journey in 2011 after a near-death bicycle accident brought her to search deep within. Communing with the expanse of stillness and the depth of touch and intention, Reiki helped her overcome PTSD and inspired h

er to spread the wisdom that the power to heal is literally in our hands.

Trained in the San Francisco Bay Area, she uses Swedish (slow, long strokes), deep-tissue, acupressure and trigger point therapy massage modalities integrated with intuitive wisdom, chakra balancing & Reiki to help facilitate healing on a holistic level.

Reiki is a simple yet profound mode of energy healing that promotes deep relaxation, awareness and restoration of balance in the body, mind and spirit, especially when there are energetic blockages or your ki (energy) is low. I incorporate Reiki healing energy in all of my massages, which I call Psychedelic Reiki Massage.

It is my own unique, self-created modality that has been inspired by all of my training, intuitive guidance and healing, psychedelic & life experiences. It is a massage infused with Reiki, which can bring you to an altered state of consciousness, and this exploration can manifest in:

° An elevated or transcendent state
° A visually enhanced and/or extrasensorial experience and/or
° A psychotherapeutic experience

It is in these altered realms, I believe there is the highest potential for the deepest and most complete healing. The synergy of Reiki and massage expands the benefits of alleviating stress & tension and decreasing pain by also helping to balance energy systems, restore harmony and offer greater clarity & insight.

It was a very special weekend all together, especially with 1 of my very 1st students , who completed her Visionary Reiki 3 Master Practitioner training last November, joining in to observe & participate so that she can start teaching too 💜 (thank you for taking the photo!)

We explored new perspectives & ways of being in a safer space, deepening our sensitivity to the energies within & around us with personal & partner exercises ✨ I’m very grateful that it was reflected in the closing circle that ‘it felt very good to be here’ & that folks found it ‘refreshing to be able to talk about energy with likeminded & like-hearted folks’ 💓 Thank you all for your trust, openness & heart-centered presence & participation!

This was truly a special Course not only due to the incredibly heart-centered, authentic & lovingly supportive energy of the group 💓, but also because my very 1st student (/teacher) ever .energyhealing got to join to observe so that she can begin teaching her own Visionary Reiki Courses! 🥹 Was truly a full-circle moment & I’m so thankful for you to have been there, Dunja! ✨

We discussed a lot of thoughtful questions from very abstract to practical, like what do we focus on when channeling Reiki? 🤔 We shared how to navigate worry when it comes up & also how to stay true to our being (2 of the 5 Reiki Principles!), even when our day-to-day job may not feel completely aligned 💫

I’m so grateful that students described the Course as ‘unforgettable’ & ‘impactful’ & also to receive the reflection that I taught in a way that allows everyone to be their own teacher, which according to this person, is the most generous thing one could ask from a teacher 🥹 Wow, that all really meant a lot to me 💓🙏

What a wonderful way to start the Reiki 2 Courses for this year 🥰 Very many congratulations to the March 2026 Visionary Reiki 2 Practitioners! 🎉🎈🎊🥳🙌💓🌀✨

I super appreciated the very sweet, soft & generous energy of the group, sharing strawberries, flowers, heart-felt gifts & Wu-Wei (what a great sweater!) 🍓💐💎🎋 It really felt like family with 3 participants coming from the same January VR1 Course & the other participant being a dear old friend of 9 years 💜

We discussed a lot around the practicalities of giving in-person & distance sessions 🙌, how Reiki is being used at hospitals for post-op patients even at Charité 🏥, and even the implications of saying no in some cultures & how to still honor your capacity & boundaries ⛰️. I loved sharing ways to connect to different archetypes & modalities to help enrich our Reiki practice, so much of what the expansive nature of Visionary Reiki is all about ☺️

I was deeep in my much-needed Winter Pause & fell a bit behind on these, butttttt… [drumroll, please! 🥁] Very many congratulations to the January 2026 Reiki 1 Practitioners!

This group was such a lovely way to start the Gregorian New Year & was also the sweetest vibe as the last Course before taking a 2-month break from teaching 💓 Thank you all for co-creating such a loving, supportive, trusting, open & curious group synergy rooted in safer space 💜
⠀
I’m grateful for all of the practical questions & also openness & authenticity in the personal sharings ✨ I always appreciate being able to partake in the exercises & practice too when there’s an odd number of participants… it was so moving & full-circle for me to receive Reiki from a student who I 1st met as a client receiving Reiki from me 🥹

We discussed how sometimes things in the ethereal don’t necessarily ‘mean’ anything or can reveal themselves later, so just trust in the process 😉 How intuition can just come from a wink, giggle or feather from the universe, we don’t have to hyperanalyze everything 🌊 How it’s important not to judge an experience or energy by labeling it positive/negative or good/bad… everything is what it is & there’s simply more harmonious or discordant energy out there ✨
