ROSENWURZ
Rosenwurz-Extrakt wird seit vielen Jahren intensiv auf seine möglichen Wirkungen hin untersucht. Dabei wurde festgestellt, dass er geistigen und körperlichen Stress verringert. Der Extrakt beeinflusst Signalstoffe der Nervenzellen, das zentrale Nervensystem und die Herzfunktion. Außerdem scheint er den Transport von Signalstoffen im Gehirn zu erleichtern. Rosenwurz wirkt antidepressiv, da er den Serotoninspiegel hebt. er erhöht gleichzeitig den Energiepegel auf zellulärer Ebene und verbessert auf diese Weise die körperliche und mentale Leistungsfähigkeit. Der Rosenwurz ist daher die optimale Pflanze für Menschen, die gut gelaunt viel leisten möchten. Rosenwurz wird bei folgenden Dingen erfolgreich angewandt Der Rosenwurz beruhigt die Emotionen und stärkt den Intellekt Der Rosenwurz hilft bei Depressionen Die Rosenwurz bei Prüfungsstress Die Rosenwurz bei Schichtarbeit Die Rosenwurz bei Burnout Die Rosenwurz bei Angststörung In Studien wirkte Rosenwurz auch gegen folgende Symptome: geistige und körperliche Müdigkeit, Gedächtnisverlust und Wahrnehmungsstörungen, Sexuelle Störungen, Störungen in den Wechseljahren, Besonders gefragt ist heutzutage die antidepressive Wirkung der Rosenwurz. Sie kommt durch die Kombination der rosenwurztypischen Wirkstoffe aus Rosavinen, Rosiridin und Salidrosid zustande. Diese Pflanzenstoffe hemmen den Abbau von Serotonin und anderen Botenstoffen im Gehirn wie Dopamin. Auf diese Weise sorgen sie dafür, dass die Serotonin- und Dopaminspiegel nicht zu stark absinken, was zu Stimmungstiefs, Antriebslosigkeit bis hin zu Depressionen führen würde. Sie halten den Serotoninspiegel stattdessen oben und verbessern so die Stimmungs- und Gemütslage.Die übliche Tagesdosis von Rosenwurz beträgt zwei- bis dreimal täglich 200 – 600 mg Extrakt (entsprechend 20 – 60 Tropfen Tinktur), bei einer Anwendungsdauer bis zu 4 Monaten. Als „Stressbewältiger“ wird die regelmäßige Einnahme normalerweise mehrere Wochen vor dem erwarteten „stressigen“ Zeitraum begonnen und während des Stressereignisses fortgesetzt.Die Einnahme von Rhodiola rosea sollte morgens erfolgen. Ansonsten kann es während der ersten Wochen zu Schlafstörungen kommen. Die beste Wirkung wird bei Einnahme auf nüchternen Magen (eine halbe Stunde vor dem Frühstück oder dem Mittagessen) erzielt. Wie bei jedem pflanzlichen Präparat sollten Patienten ihren Hausarzt über die Einnahme von Rhodiola rosea informieren. Die Kombination aus antidepressiver, neuroprotektiver (nervenzellschützender), stimulierender, müdigkeitsvertreibender und natürlich auch stressbekämpfender Wirkung macht aus der Rosenwurz ein so effektives Mittel bei depressiven Verstimmungen.

I don't know about you, but this has been a tough parenting season for us. The fear is real, the hard conversations are in full swing, and it seems like the smallest things require significant cost/benefit analyses.

I thought it might be a good time to dig back into The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting research. It's been helping us (huge thanks to all of the research participants).

This first learning is a reminder of the core finding from this research: Some of the best strategies rely on modeling the behaviors we want to see. Turns out that we need to be the adult that we want our kids to grow up to be. Dammit.

There is immeasurable power in our children watching us practice self-kindness vs. berating ourselves or putting ourselves down when we stumble, fail, or make mistakes. And, no matter how we encourage them to talk to themselves, they are definitely watching to see what really matters.

And, letting them in on our process is equally as powerful: "I really dropped the ball today and I'm struggling to be kind to myself about it and talk to myself the way I'd talk to someone I love." Modeling, normalizing that it isn't easy, and connecting.
